Great Work! I remeber seeing the box art when it was released & was like Oh Man! & then I saw the contents & finished model build by Revell & I was like oh man... Sucks that they have painted over mold lines, esp being silver theyd stand out a bit I imagine. Still might get one, the wheels are cool, just not big enough

Just checked the box, its the Revell of Germany one. molded in red plastic. so that could be the difference.

Cheers Mate, Yes the mesh came with the Revell kit, the instructions even had a template you cutout & trim around, still got half the mesh left over too. Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Hey Guys This is my recently completed LaFerrari. I was given the Revell version as a gift, Its not bad, but its certainly not great either. I still plan to get the Tamiya version & do a good job on that. Had a few issues with paint peeling off, primer didint want to stick to the plastic... Not happy with the rear wheels ride height but nothing I can do about it, changed the wheels to 20" ADV.1 wheels from C1, but used Aoshima 20" tires. Its as low as I can get with the front wheels touching the wheel arches & the car sitting level... Painted Zero Paints - Ferrari Abu Dhabi Blu, a great colur, thats quite rare but is a standard ferrari colour & has been for almost 10yrs now. Its a really nice dark teal colour, photos dont do it justice. Otherwise build out of the box, let me know what you think. The F50 is Ferrari TDF Blu Cheers Ash

Bummer about the paint problem! I had a similar thing happen to my Tamiy Porsche turbo, gave it a nice coat of white primer & then airbrushed the pearl white colour & wham, it went all yuck. Into the brake fluid it went. dmaaged the plastic too, had to sand it alot to get a smooth finish. Think we all have to learn this lession the hard way...
