  1. Hopefully, one of these! http://www.vaterrarc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=VTR03023 Just have to buy Christmas presents first, squirrel away a bit more for Car Insurance (due Jan.), save up to get the rear brakes done on my Jeep (it's over due as they're original) and for new tires for the 200 by spring (they're nearing 32k and don't have the best tire life)
  2. A red with white stripe '67 GT500 on my way home from work tonight........as well as snow, at the same time!!!
  3. Very true, especially in the Midwest!
  4. Wow, I never see iny Cimmarons any more!
  5. Malcom's health problems do explain this now! Makes sense why Johnson would be involved with a new race car.
  6. Ditto..........sadly, on both.............
  7. Sounds like that Ferrari is going to need a whole new rear clip, it's structurally ok, but the hit spread the tail lights and quarters apart.
  8. After taking my Cherokee out for a little while, I was out running around in my 200 and started to notice it seems like the XJ Cherokees are returning to the streets, haven't seen this many in one day that didn't belong to my family in a while.
  9. Yes, but 4wd makes things easier when they haven't done those roads yet, or the parkinglot at work.
  10. One of the funniest Jeep/4×4 anti-theft tips I've read is to put the transfer case into neutral then set the parking brake to it doesn't roll away (got to be careful on XJ's though, the brake in those can be iffy.) The guy who suggested that did that with his YJ had somebody try to steal it one night and the thief kept trying every forward gear, then reverse before giving up and leaving the Jeep where it sat!
  11. Took the Jeep out to put $20 worth of gas in it and to judge how weak the power steering had gotten (it freed up some once it got moving) today, just to be prepared.
  12. Lol, that wouod have been pretty funny Pete!
  13. Honestly, I don't know if even Plant can sing it without hurting himself any more. 40+ years of that plus who knows what else probably have had to take a toll on his vocal cords.
  14. Now thqt I think of it, With the Jeep being lifted like that and the Ferrari being lowered like it was, I'm not sure if he could have seen it in the day light!
  15. Same here, especially if it's a job that is under high stress at the time.
  16. I'm hoping that most of the damage was to the spoiler, engine cover (hood), rear bumper cover, and related trim pieces, but nothing structural.

  18. I though about getting a spare tire cover with this guy on it for my Cherokee, even though it wouldn't be seen from the outside.
  19. In defense of the blue minivan posted, it is a wheelchair access van, probably had to park there if the handicap spots were taken already by other store patrons..........or people that are parked illegaly in those spots.
  20. http://www.cnet.com/news/plane-hits-buffalo-during-takeoff/#ftag=YHF65cbda0?_ult=g%3Db9188ab2-33ac-3d56-b822-14f77c54c734%26ccode%3Dga%26cat%3Ddefault%26cpos%3D18%26ltxt%3DPlane%2BHits%2BBuffalo%2BDuring%2BTakeoff%26pos%3D8%26sec%3Dtd-stream%26slk%3Dtitle%26tar%3Dwww.cnet.com%26intl%3Dus And Bill Engvall though the plane he was on hitting a deer on the runway of some podunk airport on landing was bad
  21. Ok, count me as impressed! http://www.carscoops.com/2013/02/18-year-old-builds-toyota-supra-replica.html?m=1
  22. Hope the driver has a snorkle!
  23. Ronald McDonald Foundation has been building a new Ronald McDonald House across from my local Hospital (Central Dupage Hospital) and from what I saw of it driving by just now, it looks like it'll be a very nice place to stay for anybody who's family is unfortunate to have to make use of it.
