Wow, I'm guessing those were to clear either the frame, steering, and/or 4wd hardware?

What did you see on the road today?

Saw what appeared to be a Gold with White stripe Olds 442 convertable last night. Nothing to seak of today. -
Exactly Quick GMC, with Ford's turbo motors, and GM's and Chrysler's 3.6l V-6 engines, those cars can get up and run. I know a guy who had a 3.6l Camaro that had some engine work done and he was running well into the 13's, and it was all naturaly asperated. My Chrysler 200 Touring is factory rated for 283hp and they're usually solid 14 second cars is stock form with the cheap, tractionless factory tires, then if you look at the Camry and Accord models with the V-6, they're right there with the V-6 200's and Avenger in quarter mile times. Some wouldn't call them muscle cars, but they are mid sized cars with some pretty healthy motors in them for their size and weight and capable of trailering what some would consider a muscle car at the strip.

Yes, but considering popular myth about Shaggy, he might have just had the munchies

Actually, I said "doggie treat shaped kid's cracker snack"

My Sister got pulled over a few times in her Silver '06 Charger SE (3.5l V-6), don't think she ever got a ticket in it though. Waiting to see on her Plum Crazy Challenger now though...........

Nope, kids cookies based around the "Scooby Snack" treats from the "Scooby Doo" cartoon series. They're actually pretty good too!

Is it me, or does it look like a cross between a Z3/Z4 and a S2000? -
There was one in all black with "hyper black" rims in front of the Enterprise next to work yesterday, nice looking car.

I've used those things as making material for some of my R/C bodies if I need to cover large areas that aren't getting painted and don't want to waste masking tape.

I think it's one of his and Angus' nephews.

Who says all Mustang II's are ugly

The only other one is Chrysler's K-Car, I seriously wouldn't be surprised if a few.of the parts off my parent's '06 Town and Country (mainly brakes) could be bolted right up to the 4dr hatch Lebaron and Shadow turbos that I had. You get tuat some with the XJ, MJ, ZJ, and TJ Jeeps too, even some WJ parts will interchange! -

Almost forgot, there was a very sinister looking all black 2015 Mustang parked in front of the Enterprise Rental Car Agency by work today when I got back from lunch?! -
Video games as inspiration

I think some of the companies would do good by adding some of the game licensing to their kits. I have a bunch of cars on Forza 4 and Horizon that would make just cool builds in scale or 1:1. -
My sister was babysitting her friend's 3 year old this morning and when she went to get him ready to take to his maternal grandparent's house, she told him he could have a "Scooby Snack" (a doggie treat shaped kids cracker snack licensed through Hanna-Barbara), so he comes running into the kitchen looking for them. I help him find them and next thing I know I hear a very quiet "Scooby-Doobie-Doooo!" as he runs back off to my sister's room to get ready to go to his grandparents' house. Now I'm still bent over at the kitchen counter by the cabinet the cookies were in and just lose it, I'm literally pounding on the countertop laughing my fool head off while trying to stand up at the same time. This little guy is kind of a surrogate nephew for my sister, her boyfriend, and myself, while our parents treat him almost like a grandchild, or at least a great nephew.

I have seen a whole lot of women drive the SN95 Mustangs too, even the GT's, but really, any of the "slow" versions of a given generation of Mustang could be seen as girls cars. Does surprise me at the number of Women I see driving GT's as well as the Cooper versions of the Mini. -

2013 Dodge Dart !
Joe Handley replied to moparmagiclives's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Aaaaaaand who ever said it needs 4 more cylinders is as wrong as you calling it an Alpha. People seem to keep forgeting this is 2014, not 1964 as well as their automotive history. First off.......it's ALFA, not Alpha, if you're going to call out a brand, at least spell it right. Second, the Dart wasn't a muscle car back then, it was an economy car, just like it is now. Sure you could get it with a with 2 doors and a 340 or 383, but for every one of those, there were probably 100 Slant 6 or low compression 318 4 door Darts that also came off those same lines. This is also 2014, almost '15, modern economy cars do not have V-8 power, that's been gone since the 80's and was replaced with either high power n/a 4's, boosted 4's, or shoehorned V-6's, 2 doors are all but gone too, times have changed. If you want a V-8 powered 2 door, Dodge will happily sell you a Challenger R/T, a 2 door, V-8 powered Dart is just redundant. -

An 80's SVO Turbo motor or that new 2.3l motor that the Focus ST and Mustang will be getting would be cool in one of those! -
It does look like a Model A, kinda cool actually! Wonder if it's a real car from back in the day, or a modern creation made to look that way?!
