  1. Yup, they were the cheapest new car in America and had a warranty, but you would have been better off taking that money and buying used without a warranty, that was still the more reliable and finacially better option in the long run from what I remember.
  2. Yup, happened right after I bought my 200 (1 recall so far, still getting notices for my long dead Grand Cherokee though), and I couldn't believe that when I first read it either.
  3. They don't have to, their cars burn up right off the assembly line http://www.torquenews.com/1081/ford-reveals-alarming-fire-details-involving-2013-escape-and-announces-special-handling-affected-owners
  4. Dad and I saw a 4th gen Trans Am convertable a week or so ago at the local Culvers that had parked sideways across 2 if not 3 parking lanes.......too bad we were bringing food home and were in my 200, if we were eating in and had my Cherokee, I would have been tempted to do the same as the guy in the white Cherokee.
  5. We've carried Spaz-Stix R/C paint off and on at my HTU and while we were still sellingmoff the first batch we had gotten in, a customer spotted it and no joke nearly had a meltdown over the paint being called that?! I've often wondered if she called my boss to complain and that that's why it had been several years before we got our next batch of it in or if that was just the old store owner doing the typical "if it sells, but not like hot cakes, don't order more of it, but maybe use that money for something we still haven't been able to sell at a steep discound instead" deals........
  6. Yeah, but I'll bet the Elio will have a lot more get up and go while being less of a........upended fishbowl in the sun.
  7. Bright yellow and flat black '71-'73 Mustang, little bit bigger tire out back than up front, Torque Thrusts, slapper bars, nice looking cars.
  8. Left work early due to being sick, the last 12 hours have sucked.
  9. Finalized the last bits of work on my RJ Speed (formly Bolink) Legends Car And got the new, black rim matching matte black chassis plates on my Wheely King based monster truck hearse Grave Robber. Here's what the parts are supposed to resemble. And what it currently looks like!
  10. There is something bizzare yet kinda cool about that Edsel........any info on it?
  11. That boy must love his venison!
  12. I don't have/want a debit card (least it won't get hacked!), and only one station takes checks.......and they were closed and usually more expensive.
  13. You know, I have started to consider the Cowl Induction Hood the Mullet of auto mods a while ago now, but would that be the Mullet and Fauxhawk combined into one?!
  14. I like paying cash, plus then I wouldn't find things like what's in my last post!
  15. Stopped to fill up my 200 tonight and paid $2.33/gal gor E85 (even regular was only $3.43/gal!), then when I went in to get my change, I saw this new limited edition flavor in their F'real milkshake machine....... Dang was it good!
  16. Saw a bunch of late model Vettes tonight. I don't know what it is about those two words, but I'm always correcting myself when I mean to put Lose instead of Loose.
  17. Well, now it would be.
  18. My 200 is set up like that too, not sure how easy it will be to change, but there will be no swapping it out in the Farm and Fleet parking lot then bring the old one back in as soon as we're done like I've done with the ones in my Jeep.
  19. Ah, I usually just call it a Multi Meter, plus I rarely use a digital one when I do.
  20. First World Problems.
  21. Just bought this to finally Replace the Bolink Legends Car that was stolen out of my Jeep with a Nitro Stampede I was building back in '05. Some of the reason it took so long was that it happened after Bolink went belly up but before RJ Speed started putting the old Bolink stuff back out.
  22. What's a DMM?
  23. My Sister (who drives a Plum Crazy w/white R/T stripes Challenger R/T Classic) noticed that too. A couple years back he tested a 392 SRT car, saying many of the same things about it..............just that this one has "707hp"..........which might be on the low side after seeing that dyno run.
