  1. Would that be somewhere in the Ford Galaxie by chance Chuck?
  2. Moreso to get up and over things most vehicles can't while getting away from civilization, breakage just sometimes happens in doing so.
  3. Hey Tom, I take it that this Buick is literally one of those "only driven to church on Sunday" type cars? My 200 has nearly that many miles on it and it was built in January of 2012, but I didn't buy it until April of 2012 with less than 75miles on the clock, plus that includes driving my Jeep during the last two winters (and a couple days already this month), and not driving it (well, both really) any more than neccessary last year due to lack of funds!
  4. That it does, isn't that the rename of their big sedan?
  5. Old and In The Way's self titled first album.
  6. After all the road salt used last winter, my Jeeps front axle is a bit of a mess. Dad threw new pads and rotors on it for me while I was at work and sent me a close up picture via text message of the left front u-joint saying we're going to need to swap that out soon too, and it was a good thing he told me what it was, otherwise I'd have spent the rest of the shift trying to figure out why he texted me a close cropped picture of something on the Titanic!
  7. Hopefully, one of these! http://www.vaterrarc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=VTR03023 Just have to buy Christmas presents first, squirrel away a bit more for Car Insurance (due Jan.), save up to get the rear brakes done on my Jeep (it's over due as they're original) and for new tires for the 200 by spring (they're nearing 32k and don't have the best tire life)
  8. A red with white stripe '67 GT500 on my way home from work tonight........as well as snow, at the same time!!!
  9. Very true, especially in the Midwest!
  10. Wow, I never see iny Cimmarons any more!
  11. Malcom's health problems do explain this now! Makes sense why Johnson would be involved with a new race car.
  12. Ditto..........sadly, on both.............
  13. Sounds like that Ferrari is going to need a whole new rear clip, it's structurally ok, but the hit spread the tail lights and quarters apart.
  14. After taking my Cherokee out for a little while, I was out running around in my 200 and started to notice it seems like the XJ Cherokees are returning to the streets, haven't seen this many in one day that didn't belong to my family in a while.
  15. Yes, but 4wd makes things easier when they haven't done those roads yet, or the parkinglot at work.
  16. One of the funniest Jeep/4×4 anti-theft tips I've read is to put the transfer case into neutral then set the parking brake to it doesn't roll away (got to be careful on XJ's though, the brake in those can be iffy.) The guy who suggested that did that with his YJ had somebody try to steal it one night and the thief kept trying every forward gear, then reverse before giving up and leaving the Jeep where it sat!
  17. Took the Jeep out to put $20 worth of gas in it and to judge how weak the power steering had gotten (it freed up some once it got moving) today, just to be prepared.
  18. Lol, that wouod have been pretty funny Pete!
  19. Honestly, I don't know if even Plant can sing it without hurting himself any more. 40+ years of that plus who knows what else probably have had to take a toll on his vocal cords.
  20. Now thqt I think of it, With the Jeep being lifted like that and the Ferrari being lowered like it was, I'm not sure if he could have seen it in the day light!
  21. Same here, especially if it's a job that is under high stress at the time.
  22. I'm hoping that most of the damage was to the spoiler, engine cover (hood), rear bumper cover, and related trim pieces, but nothing structural.
  23. https://autos.yahoo.com/news/watch-jeep-smash-custom-ferrari-sema-130029647.html
  24. I though about getting a spare tire cover with this guy on it for my Cherokee, even though it wouldn't be seen from the outside.
