  1. Not for a proper model, but got some parts for my '92 Cherokee Scale R/C truck. Picked up a set of Axial's 1/10 scale fender flares, softer Axial springs for the front of the truck, and Traxxas rod ends in case I have to stretch it's wheelbase a bit. If I were to put comparable flares on my 1:1 '98 Cherokee, there would be sawzall work required on all 4 corners, including some considerable surgery on the rear quarters to reinforce the unibody.
  2. That $17,500 would pay off the loan on my 1:1 Chrysler?!
  3. When I woke up this morning and looked at Accuweather on my phone and saw it was -12, I forwarded the link to a friend in Michigan via text with the phrase "this is B...s.....", then it was up to -10 when I left at 9:20am, but it was +4ยบ when I got home at 4pm!
  4. One of our heaters at work decided to quit..........oh joy.
  5. My parents and I had accounts with this bank, just found this out today.............10 days after the fact! http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20140117-711343.html
  6. A friend and co-worker of mine is taking classes at Wabanse Community College and found out they will be closed tomorrow about a hour ago. We left our store about 6pm and the drive kinda sucked for me in the Jeep driving from St.Charles to West Chicago, but driving his lowered 2wd '07 Silverado back to Virgil/Maple Park was worse. His Mom works at the Meijer across the street and left there at 8:30pm.............her drive back to their home in her ZR-2 S-Blazer apparently really sucked.
  7. I had a couple different customers today who ended up getting texts from their kids' schools while I was helping them, sounds like some of the Chicago area schools are calling if off for cold weather..........again. I just hope we don't close early again, I can't afford to lose any more hours to this sh..........tuff.
  8. I thought you could get that through Mopar via their own line of engine spray paints.
  9. Ummmmmm............I would hate to change the plugs on that car, the 4 closest to the firewall looks like they would be as bad, if not worse to get at than the right bank on my 200!
  10. Very nice looking, didn't realize Bantam was still around to be licensed through.
  11. I like the Speedway I usualy go to, don't take the Jeep there too often, but I'll fill my 200 there unless somebody else has a better E85 spread, which almost never happens around here.
  12. Just read he was below the legal limit for minors on the breathalizer, but the weed and pills probably should counter that........I'd hope. Also just shown in the local NBC affiliate that there are 3 Miami cops who have been suspended for giving Beiber and his bunch an unapproved police escort to a local strip club a few days prior to his arrest.
  13. That's an Opel? COOL! Hate to say it, but I almost asked if Palmer made a mid-50's Buick at one time.............oops........
  14. I just hope they would take him back!
  15. I think the main one now us just the weather, so we're posting in the S-Word thread
  16. A friend of mine is traveling through that area now, said he's seen more people spin out than he can count, even watched a Subaru Forrester land in the median after the driver lost control and couldn't collect back up.
  17. Dad made some comment tonight that Beiber's Dad was supposedly blocking traffic on the road for those two to do their race?!
  18. Problem is, he probably has so much BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH in his hair that you couldn't Dinozo him...........his hair would probably absorb most of the impact before your hand slid off his greasy head.
  19. Didn't care much for their hot chocolate (don't do coffee), same with Speedways, but that BP by my store has some of the best!
  20. Not that I've seen, or even remember. Usually it's BP, Shell, Marathon, Mobile, Speedway, Road Ranger, Thornton's, 7-11, and a handful of Citgo stores around here. Union 76 up.and left in the late 90's, the last Clark I knew of is now a BP, Phillips looks to be gone too.
  21. Can't wait, my Jeep is getting expensive to feed, haven't even seen 14mpg out of it yet this winter! At least gas has been "cheap".........and holding at mid $3's around here...........
  22. Still have a number of BP's here, only tend to buy from the one closest to work, mainly because they have some if the prices around. Most around here tend to be on the high side of pricing unless you're looking at E85, then you're really getting screwed, the stations that do sell it want nearly as much for that as they do regular.
  23. My sister goes on there quite a bit.
