Just tried to start the Jeep, turned over, but no fire Might have too much alcohol in the 200, plus the Jeep is blocking it in.

I just looked that up on Great Planes' retailer's site, they're currently showing that gold as discontinued and at $21 a can?!?!?!?
-
Here's one to keep us warm for the next couple days!
-
$8 a can? We usually sell them for less than $7.00?!
-
Just spent 3-4 hours out chasing a snowblower around the property, then made a Dunkin Run for some of their hot chocolate..........I'm beat! I've spent my whole life in the Midwest too and done the whole FWD in the snow thing for several years before buying the Jeep 10 years ago.............I'll stick with the Jeep.

Just ran out to get lunch for the family, this weather is the best excuse to have kept my Jeep!

Looks like I'll be going out to join the neighbors in clearing the driveways instead of going to work. I was supposed to work a 12-4 shift today and got a text saying to not even bother trying to come in a few minutes ago.

Oh, speaking of gas stations.......... I'll occasionally dump anywhere from 1-3 gallons of E85 into the Jeep when I top it off to see how it responds to it (hasn't caused a problem so far, even when I accidentally put 5 gallons in...........) with more success than I had expected and it looks like I could safely run E25 in it. Only tricky part is there are no blender pumps here that dispence the different blends besides the three types of E10 and E85 or Diesel around here. Well, in two of the stations here that sell E85, you have to pay ahead with cash or pay with credit and the other you can pay cash or check (yes check!) after you fill up if you pull up to the right pump. Well, at that one you can put in what ever amount of either fuel into the vehicle's tank, go in and pay, then leave. I did not go there today, I went to one of the others and tried to do the splash blending thing with cash instead of with a credit or debit card like I did a couple times at the third place.........ended up being a total pain for both them and me..... Next time, I'll just go to the one I can write a check at, a whole lof easier!

That's why I love the Sirius in my 200, been to Elkhart Lake, WI. and Branson, MO. twice each in it and the only time I lose signal is when I go under some sort of structural covering (usually bank and gas station awnings) and the stations are consistant from state to state!

Haven't seen sheep wandering around, then again, I have seen enough coyotes that a sheep wouldn't last last all that long. One of my co-workers also works for Kane County and has been doing a whole bunch of overtime clearing snow and laying salt. He made more money on just Christmas and New Years Days working overtime than I did all last month!

Drone delivery is just around the corner. Ummmm hmmmm.

Funny you mentioned that, we had a farmer come in before Christmas to buy one of the Blade QX350 quad-copters to use on his farm. They're capable of carrying a GoPro Hero 3 camera and he is planning on using it to inspect his crops from the air once he learns how to fly it. I think it's a great idea, it'll be easier than walking the fields, less wear on the farm equipment (trucks, quads, SxS's, ect), and way cheaper than going up in the air yourself to visually inspect the fields from a plane or heli too! I'm waiting for them to step in on park fliers and such already, especially in areas that have what could be considered high value targets (living or structural). It was never an issue until 5 years ago, but here in Chicago we will have no fly zones and such set up when ever the Obama's come back to the area from DC and that covers everything that can go airborn........minus any local General Lee clones, those seem to stay ground bound. That truely pisses off the r/c plane guys, sometimes venomously (won't repeat what the owner of a different HTU told me some customers have said, but it was insanely overboard!) -

I'd be more concerned with the paranoid nut with a real gun. Lol, I thought they were going to land, release the container, than return to home. Would be interesting to see how animals would react to those things, I've seen them do anything from run and hide, treat my trucks with indifference, try to kill a couple trucks (big farm dog, didn't like those funny sounding critters on his farm ), even had a collie type dog that I think was with a petting zoo try to herd one of my Jeep bodied crawlers over with the real Jeeps at a Jeep show a few years back, apparently it thought a "young" Jeep was wandering off from the pack -
All things considered, I wouldn't blame him!

Don't they have the FAA to deal with this on the matter still? -
Yea, I'm thinking of things like that as a retail worker, as in what's not going to piss off the average customer if they happen to see it while wandering through my store. I'd have probably done box art more along the lines of say a staff car, where it's there, but nothing............offensive to most folks not interested in those kinds of dioramas.

Weird cars!

I've seen somebody who started doing that with a XJ Cherokee, but I think he was going with a 2dr instead of a 4dr. I saw a clip that thing doing an acceleration run, IIRC, it's all electric, high voltage, and 8 wheel drive.............it's also stupifyingly quick! -
kinda hoping that is a sick joke on the part of whoever created it.
-
I haven't played Need for Speed in years..........well, up until this last year, any games in general. Got Forza Horizon last year as well as Forza 4 the year before.........now I'm hooked again.
-
Guess I'm not the only one thinking that.
-
Had this pop up on the radio while driving home tonight. seemed kinda appropriate..................
-
Drive home tonight wasn't bad, but seeing as I have to work tomorrow, I hope it doesn't get any worse before getting home afterwards!.
-
Both of those would be annoying!

Pretty much. -
If it wasn't for the age of that Caddy and the other cars, you would think that was a black and white taken just 3 years ago! Just out of curiousity, just how many of us worked at a Jewel/Osco at one time? I worked at the West Chicago Osco from Aug '92-Nov '97 and Mom worked at that same Jewel from '90-'09.

Lol, true!
