Friday the 13th is still at it on the 15th....... Earlier this week my Jeep would break the back tires loose without hesitation on the salt coated roads, but on friday is started to act like it was slipping on the way home from time to time. That continued on Saturday from the time I left the house to the time I got home. Dad goes to borrow it this morning and it does it for him too. I looked out and saw a puddle of something under the right side and radiator this morning. So we go and check it and find the trans so low that it doesn't register. We fill it up then turn it off and look back a few minutes later, and that ATF is dripping right back out..........guess I'll have to expose the 200 to some salt until we can get it fixed.

You can have the nasty ATF leak my Jeep just developed over the last couple days!

I don't have to go in until 1pm.

We've got more since that post, thecars must have a couple inches on them

Last I checked, there was a skim coat on the non-vertical surfaces of our cars........hopefully, that's the worst of it.

For some reason, I always liked the old AMT/ERTL primer grey plastic from the 90's. For some reason all the white plastics just seem "cheap" from me.

That's why I try o go back to Mopar for Jeep parts any more, if they've lasted me this long............

Looks about normal for Lambo's qnd their owners.............I just can't bring myself to calling a lot of supercar owners drivers, they seem like they would have a hard time controlling anything faster than a golf cart!

Not sure Charlie, almost looks like a 1:1 version of the Extra aerobatic R/C plane.

I think that there are now black boxes going into cars, but Bill is right, the airbag systems and maybe the OBD2 systems did act as a rudimentry black box. If I'm right on that, my 16 year old Jeep should have that ability too so long as the broken clock spring, which has disabled the bags, and much more annoyingly, the horn and cruise control, didn't disable that too.

I was wondering about the Vasquez I took my Jeep to.

I know somebody who.did a title loan on his minivan after one of his employers decided not tonpay anybody for their work and they rates on that were nearly as bad, made the 23% on credit cards if you missed a payment look cheap!

He and another friend of ours are in for some work, who ever had it before did some.......interesting........work on it. There's a whole lot of wiring work needed from bumper to bumper, speedo doesn't work, exhaust is screwed up (actually melted the bumper cover!), ect.

I'm still curious if there was some sort of black box on the car.

A friend if mine is tearing into a '91 5.0 GT project car in his garage and even with plastic blocking the doors and at least one torpedo heater cranked, his garage is coooold.

That's why I bought the lifetime warranty for my 200, we are currently at 3º and I would hate to have to deal with those temps on a car that close to the snow.

I know Harry, my Jeep has probably seen as many miles from sunday through today than it had between the March floods and sunday! BTW, What ever the percentage of ethanol to gas the E85 Woodmans has been selling is (should be E70), it don't like to fire in these temps either, I ended up topping it off with regular today so it starts better when it's this cold out!

My sister and I went out and shoveled earlier today, didn't even bother dragging out the snowblower even though there was still snow left from Sunday.

ooops.

Guess we have more coming, supposed to be here around 5am..........wooopeee......

I don't miss those snow days, that usually means I'm out freezing my rump off clearing the yard and driveway......or as was the case 2 years ago, just trying to get it low enough to get my Jeep out of the driveway.

I don't know Harry, those last couple snowfalls we had were pretty real Actually, that last one was pretty much one big sheet of ice from the time I crossed the Dupage/Kane Co. line until I got to the store! I thought I was having problems with my 15 year old Jeep until I saw much newer cars and trucks having the same issues I was!

That is a huge turnout!
