  1. That's why I bought the lifetime warranty for my 200, we are currently at 3ยบ and I would hate to have to deal with those temps on a car that close to the snow.
  2. I know Harry, my Jeep has probably seen as many miles from sunday through today than it had between the March floods and sunday! BTW, What ever the percentage of ethanol to gas the E85 Woodmans has been selling is (should be E70), it don't like to fire in these temps either, I ended up topping it off with regular today so it starts better when it's this cold out!
  3. My sister and I went out and shoveled earlier today, didn't even bother dragging out the snowblower even though there was still snow left from Sunday.
  4. Guess we have more coming, supposed to be here around 5am..........wooopeee......
  5. I don't miss those snow days, that usually means I'm out freezing my rump off clearing the yard and driveway......or as was the case 2 years ago, just trying to get it low enough to get my Jeep out of the driveway.
  6. I don't know Harry, those last couple snowfalls we had were pretty real Actually, that last one was pretty much one big sheet of ice from the time I crossed the Dupage/Kane Co. line until I got to the store! I thought I was having problems with my 15 year old Jeep until I saw much newer cars and trucks having the same issues I was!
  7. That is a huge turnout!
  8. I have to agree with what's been said so far, plus would like to add the new AMT Showroom Series cars and even the Revell 90's full detail snap kits (Caprice/Impala, 4th gen Firebird/Camaro, 1st gen Viper RT/10 and GTS) would also be good choices too.
  9. It was too late, one of my friends and co-workers almost did, I'd have tagged along if they had.
  10. I'm closing manager at work tonight and we're open 'till 7 because of the holidays, we'll be lucky to be out by 7:45. Where is it supposed to be at?
  11. Anybody else seen the Fast 6 DVD ad where they state that some of the sales are going to Walker's charity?
  12. If somebody is in that big a need of a charge, I'd have no problem letting them plug in for a little bit, don't see that as any different than give them a lift to a gas station...........probably cheaper since you're not making a trip to the gas station using your gas
  13. I saw that yesterday after getting home from the oil change mentioned in the Paul Walker. After seeing him near the end several months back, it was surprising to see him last this much longer.
  14. WOW, looks fantastic! I sure hope he's asking for enough money on that.
  15. That could fall under the title "Customer Service", providing electricity so your customers' cars will start is a pretty good service, and is likely rolled into the pricing of the products sold inside.
  16. Not only that, but if you look at the wreck that killed James Dean, that was considered his fault since he had just recieved a speeding ticket not too far from there and he was on his way yo a race in a low slung Porsche. Turns out some foresic crash investigators looked into a decade or so back and found that the colleage age kid driving the big Ford blew a sign and in the process of squashing his little silver Spyder, killed Dean and seriously hurt his passenger. Supposedly other guy never saw Dean's car as it blended in with the road a little too well. They probably want to make sure they don't make that same mistake for these guys, especially if there are other issues those cars are known for besides suddenly swapping ends with the wrong application of the skinny pedal.
  17. Seeing as this has happened before, they probably don't want to make any mistakes that might have been made in the past. Be willing to bet it's the same for the police, they probably want to make BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH sure it was Rodas' driving that caused the wreck vs a mechanical failure or even a mixture of things.
  18. I was wondering if somebody was going to bring that up Thanks!
  19. Took my 200 in for an oil change today and the dealer had on Inside Edition, who had a segment about Walker, and they played a clip of this video.
  20. Well, they are dead mice packed with asprin................
  21. I saw that on Yahoo the other night, a much friend made the comment that of all the celebrities out there, why was it Walker that passed, especially in that way............only thing I could think of at the time was to ask him if he was familiar with the phrase "Only the good die young.", with a heavy heart, he agreed. I do think this will become another James Dean like moment for the younger generations.
  22. I wondered about the belts too, but have heardof wrecks that were so violent that even though belts were used, the internal injuries from the immediate stop were so bad that death still resulted. Sounds like it's pretty horrible, but probably more who ever removes the body from the vehicle since the loss of life is so quick.
  23. Great looking build........and you're right, the timing is quite freaky!
  24. I've got a set of each on hold at work, I really like the wheels, can't complain on the tires either, they'll look good on any late 50's/early 60's kustoms and lowriders.
