  1. Should just be the body, interior, tail lights, and maybe windows to make the Plymouth cars for that year. Most midsized Mopars were pretty much identical mechanically and even had some parts that would be used on the '62 Fury, '68 Cornet, and '70 Charger my folks had just as easily as they could on the Diplomats our local Police Department used back in the 80's and would also fit the Plymouth in your picture there and the cop cars used for Dukes of Hazzard.
  2. Been watching a few of MT's videos on the CTS V-Sport, sounded like they really liked it, guess so.
  3. And what kind of Volvo does he drive Harry, it may not be any more grown up than my 200, if you know what I mean
  4. That right there is why I won't own a bike, things aren't ant better here!
  5. I'm not going to lie, I've done stuff like that with the glass pack on my Jeep too
  6. Those bare a STRONG resemblance to the Early 60's Mopars Exner designed. That Mercer even reminds me of that Slant 6 powered asymitrical concept car he Chrysler built.
  7. There has been some talk of Maserati getting a variation of the Pentastar V-6, I think a 3.0l turbo or twin turbo, but can't remember for sure right now.
  8. I'll have to ask, but I think Mom went to that with her high school class for their Senior Trip. A bus "full" of teenagers road tripping from a rural Iowa town of 400..........and her graduating class was a bus packing 13 kids!
  9. That one even looks better.......kinda makes the '05-'09 look kinda plain.
  10. I've had that happen a couple times lately too Harry, the "driver" that did it to me on Rt. 38 yesterday instead of staying in the slow lane, joined me in the passing late, while maintaining that extra low speed. Got a new one though. My store is in the same strip mall as an Enterprise RentACar and they have about a dozen Chevy Express and Ford Econoline 15 passenger vans. Lately they have been parking the vans directly in front of my store and taking up all but the handicap spots. The store owner went to talk to them on it Friday, and all it got was another van added to the current row of vans today. There's plenty of parking elseware in the lot (the mall is half empty) as well as behind it, so there is no reason to dock the fleet where our customers could use it.
  11. I hit something today with my 200................................ Miles that is! Hit 20k while coming home from the dealer and filling my 200 today and around 15k of that has been on solely E85! Since buying the car in April of 2012 the only wrenching done on the car has been oil changes, tire rotations, and headlight alignment.
  12. I like that Blue and White one far more.
  13. Road construction and the lousy timing of it. The three ways I'd have to get to and from work are undergoing construction right now. Two years ago, Rte.64 started undergoing a widening and upgrading project that ran past our old location and would be an out of the path for our current location. Luckily it appears that this work should be done by Thanksgiving. I'm honestly shocked it is already nearly done already! One year into the above project, they started on Rte.38 they started building a much needed bridge over the now Union Pacific (ex CNW) right of way and have it down to one lane each way in what was the westbound lanes. This is the most direct way, but between the tracks (rarely had good timing related to trains and that crossing) and driving through downtown Geneva, it can slow things down if you're running a bit late......... In the Spring of 2012 I started using Fabian Parkway to Rte.31 to 38, which is a mile longer that straight up 38, but even before the bridge project started it was enough of a better path that it made a 1-2mpg improvement in my Jeep's mileage over he other way! Now they're doing work on Fabian between the Kane County Sheriffs Dept and Rte.25, which was one lane going east and now westbound........and clogs up during rush hours worse than before with the extra traffic from the 38 & 64 projects. I have heard that this is to some drainage and would be future washout issues, so it's good that they're working on it, but timing again.......somewhat annoying. Used to be that I could jump onto Kirk Rd. and go from Fabian back to 38, and now they're doing some work work on the other bridge over the same UP tracks, same source tells me that this 20 something year old bridge is also having "issues" and needs the work being done to it like they're doing on Fabian in a portion south of the bridge too. Can't complain too much since all the work is needed for infrastructure repairs (Kirk and Fabian) and/or upgrades (38 and 64) that they're all fairly major East-West corridors (with 38 & 64 going all the way East into Chicago and West past Dekalb/Sycamore), just most of it being around the same time is a bit annoying.
  14. I honestly think I could fit the 235/75r15 Wranglers off my Cherokee inside some of those rims!
  15. No thanks, that's just ugly.
  16. We got them at work yesterday, have to wait a few weeks before I get one, car pyment comes first.
  17. If you have the 3.5l, you might be able to rework one of the Prowler V-6's for the engine, not sure on the body work or the headlights though.
  18. Anything that hasn't be a new issue in the last 5 years or has been around forever and reissued ad nausium.
  19. That would make me want to hook their car to my Jeep and drag it out of the spot so it could be used by Mom and Dad, or somebody else who's equally deserving!
  20. OK, this more than irked me today. My Mom has some issues with her legs that have required her and Dad to get a permenent handicap placard for the Town and Country they own. We were coming home from Branson, MO today and stopped at a rest area to find two semis taking up 6 of the handicap spaces there!
  21. I keep thinking back to the old F/S Chevy Vans my folks had when I was growing up, the second one had a 33 gallon tank in it and Mom would only put $20 in it as a time because of how much it cost to fill at less than a $1.00 a gallon. I can't imagine having to fill that when prices were close to $4.50 for regular back in the summer of '08 here in Chicaco, the 20.5 gallon tank in my Jeep was bad enough!
  22. Not sure if I would call that swoopy, suicidal might be more accurate...............
  23. You want a tin foil secretary's car that won't steer on anything other than hard, dry pavement? One of my uncles had ine back in the day, it was garbage the way Dad tells it.
  24. True Ben, it could be this.
