I'm not sure what that looks more like, a Baby Tatra or a Baby Airflow

Looks good Phil, I'm digging the Bellflower Pipes too!

I've got a 5 gallon Napa airtank that I've added a regulator (probably spent $100 10+ years ago) to and filled with a compressor that plugs into my cigarette lighter (Don't laugh, it worked pretty good on Pactra and Createx paints!) and a a Coleman air compressor and IIRC a 2 gallon airtank (think that was on sale for $59.99)that I haven't had the chance to get rigged up since I need to get the two next to each other and start looking and what I need to do.

Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak
Joe Handley replied to Evilmonkeyman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yes, they are radio control, and I think they offered the body with the kits based off their electric 1/10 RS4 "touring sedan" and their "truck" based "Super" as well as selling them as service parts to anybody who wanted them are replacements for the above vehicles or their own non HPI vehicles that were of a similar size. -
Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak

The only Escudo's I'm aware of were the HPI 1/10 and "Super" Escudo bodies for their 1/10 Touring cars and their RS4 MT based "Super Nitro Rally" rally car. Unfortunately that no longer appears to be offered by HPI any more Here's the 1/10 car. and the "Super". And yes, those are actually two different cars -
Looking for a ship model

Thanks Aaron, she probably wants it as a keepsake since her Dad served on that one ship (her Mom also worked for Curtis Aircraft as a Riveter ) -
Looking for a ship model
Joe Handley replied to Joe Handley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks Rich, I'll look for those kits at work then, the reason she was asking about that particular ship is that her father served on the USS Coffman during WW2 and was on it when they captured the German U-505 Sub that is now at the Museum of Science and Industry! -
Has anybody ever seen kits of the Cannon Class Destroyer Escorts, USS Coffman in particular? The lady at the Advance Auto I ordered the Magnaflow stuff for my Jeep through was asking if I knew about any models of that ship or at least of that class of ship. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Coffman

IIRC the reasons they put the eyes in the windshield was to keep the cars from looking "snake like" and there had been some precedence with WW2 era cartoons that places the eyes there too. :EDIT: Here's a couple examples of what I was talking about (the first one is thanks to our own Jim Gibbons!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poh-DoKbuo8

I picked up a Badger water trap, AMT '62 T-Bird, as well as a few rc car parts yesterday then picked up a AMT '70 Cornet, a new rear muffler hanger for my XJ (broke it last week and have it hung with bailing wire at the moment )and ordered a new Magnaflow 2.5" muffler and cat for the Jeep too. I'm going to try and install the hanger on the truck Wed then take it to a local shop and have them install the cat, muffler, and bend up a 2.5" tailpipe for it.

There was one place they went to protest that was quite unappreciative of their presence, the groups minivan ended up with 4 flat tires and not only would nobody other than the area Walmart would sell them new ones, but they couldn't get a tow and had to drive the van there to have them installed. They better hope that somebody down there doesn't snap and do anything worse than that..............

Bought it and it's still in the Jeep.

I've already got the one that came in yesterday set aside for myself to buy before I leave work tonight

We got one of those at work today and it has all of the kustom goodies in it.......I had a hard time not buying it on the way out the door

GM actually build one almost 20 years ago as a concept vehicle from a Caprice wagon!

Model, but those wheels would be correct for the real thing and Tamiya has those decorated disks on it's F1 R/C version of the Ferrari's too

Are we done yet ?
Joe Handley replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'll be honest, I don't care much for that Gen 2 T/A look on those cars, Just doesn't seem right to me. I've have done a Gen 1 Firebird on it instead, that would just seem to fit the lines of the car better to me for some reason. -

The "Massage Parlor" and golf course scenes will probably be the best bet for anything remotely detail related.
