  1. I'm at work right now and just checked to see if they were in the HTU system and as of right now they are and are only $10.99 for the sets at retail price
  2. Hmm, looks good so far, wonder if my avatar is still useable.....if not, it's time to change it anyway edit Ok, looks like it got rid of my Jeep one and replaced it with one of me doing doing my Sasquatch impersonation
  3. I can already imagine what I would be saying....and it's nothing that I can repeat on here
  4. My turbocharged '85 Lebaron would do that after I put a Dynomax Ultraflow (straight through glasspack) on it, sometimes just pulling into a spot next to or starting it next to a car with an alarm would set it off and a friend of mine who is almost 100% deaf could "feel" the car's exhaust in his eardrums Kinda wonder if my Jeep will do both of those now that it's got a Magnaflow on it too.......guess a few tests are in order
  5. Holy cow! I thought that this was going to be a picture of the real car, not a diecast
  6. The guy at the museum said it was the car used for the "what She's Supposed To Look Like" model at the event.
  7. Good idea, is that an in progress resto or low rider?
  8. Had that happen many years ago with an RC body, shot it an acrylic bright yellow/green (I may have been going for Sassy Grass Green with that one) that had a glow in the dark paint mixed into it and I barely got the lexan covered when I'm suddenly in a swarm of these little greenish gnat things that landed in the wet paint, got stuck to the masking tape, and such all well within 5 minutes
  9. I saw this car in person a few years back down in Branson, one of the guys that worked for that museum has had a number of people who asked if that car was Miss Belevedere since there was a poster next to it of it at the unearthing event
  10. Can't remember what it is off hand, but I have read about those things.
  11. Unfortunately, the Maverick started on fire by the end of the show, but I still think it was the best of the three cars, I was laughing out loud on more than one occasion while watching it though
  12. I kinda had the same thoughts, I kina preferred the USTG and UKTG more so too. About the only thing I liked about the first show is that the Petty Cash Racing Cherokee (the "Petty Blue" station wagon that passed their 300ZX in the LeMon's race) had a couple way too quick cameo's and were apparently;y the ones that actually shot up the ZX afterwards too
  13. I gotta agree, beautiful!
  14. or worse yet, at the hotel overnight When Dad was still with C&NW, he was staying at a hotel where somebody left an open air T-Bucket out in the lot over night without any kind of cover...and it pooooooored When he went to get into his company truck and leave, the T-Bucket owner was trying to dry out the interior with the hotel towels
  15. Ah the wonders of photoshop, at least then no longer does a car have to die to create what can be made digitally
  16. Great looking builds, is that '34 the Revell Snapper?
  17. Yea, that thing does look and sound amazing
  18. That's some of the reason I built mine in this way...come to think of it, I've got a couple more that I never got it primer that need some attention too
  19. Joe Handley

    Citation

Lol, it's probably been built better than GM ever did on any of the 1/1 Citations too
  20. The way some of the stuff on my folks Town and Coutry was done under Dahlmer-Benz, Italian or Russian assembly could be an improvement
  21. I thought it was a pretty close clone of the turtleback T roadsters for a body and you can build the frame to suit your needs suspension wise on the 1/1 cars.
  22. That is completely insane and awesome at the same time Just pray it doesn't have a nitrous explosion, that could wipe out a small town BTW, is it me, or did that cover of Dead or Alive sound like it was being sung by John Goodman
