  1. That should be pretty cool if they can get it work right, could end up being the automotive equivalent of the Diesel Locomotive too!
  2. I'm with the Depends Camp, if I were replicating one of the vehicles I've owned or building a vehicle "inspired" by the ones I've owned (since the only one of them have been offered as a model of some sort ), the wires would need to be blue since I've run either Talyor or Mopar (which I think were made by Taylor anyway ) wires on them. I'd also have to use black, white, orange, candy blue, or safety yellow on oil filters too for the same reason. If I were replicating a factory fresh car, black might be right, if I'm replicating a specific modified car, then the wires should be the same color as what the prototype has. Now if it was a fantasy hot rod of some sort, I'd go for wires that worked with the type of car (street rod, specialty shop style custom, or true Kustom might get a color matched set while a regular street machine might get Yellow, Red, or Blue wires). If I were to get creative and were building a beater, I'd mix and match things like that, wheels and tires, body panels, or other similar, removable and junkyard source-able parts
  3. You know, I kept looking at those pics and kept thinking that that locomotive looked familiar, then it hit me as to why! One of the clones is on display at The Museum of Science and Industry!
  4. I was looking over that kit a few weeks ago, kept thinking that this is what the TV Show General Lee should have been instead of a painted up hot rod
  5. Well, that could be why it's called a Model "T" instead of a Model T Is it me, or has that frame already been notched and Z'd? Might make for a decent rat rod style built
  6. Super high end die-cast.
  7. Looks great! Wonder if Jr would ever jump into that car and drive it like he did the Wrangler car recently
  8. In all honesty, with any open top Jeep (literally from WW2-JK Wrangler!) and that generation closed cab Jeep, just some sheet styrene could get you what you need with a little effort and imagination!
  9. I'll take two of those over the Lexus anytime.......no matter what the scale
  10. Don't see why not, my folks Town and Country Touring (and it's around 4400lbs on it's own!) will get well into the 20's on the interstate with 4 people and their luggage on board........as well as one of my RC's usually
  11. I'm surprised nobody has tried to save that Jeepster yet
  12. Come to think of it, you could also take the body and make a Supra motored Pro Mod out of it too
  13. Hrump, you could sent the entire office's kid's to collage with a car like that
  14. IIRC he was in Hooper too, he was the gladiator that wasn't wearing any underwear during the chariot scene
  15. That looks fantastic, all it needs is a stroked 4.0 with either a Boostec supercharger kit or a Boostwerks.com Holset turbo kit for a 4.0l XJ under the hood
  16. Can't say anything other than Art
  17. So....you were the jerk of a big brother on "The Wonder Years"?
  18. You guys are all dang lucky, I've known two people killed by clots breaking free and getting flushed to their lungs, most recent of which was a H.S. Classmate (we were only 33 at the time too) who left his widow and teenage step daughter with two little kids to care for just last summer Some how I wouldn't be surprised if Crazy Jim knew one of his uncles too.....................
  19. Wish I could have, but there was never a model made of the Chrysler H-Bodies
  20. So long as it's in a non visible spot, I don't care if it's there when I finish the build.
  21. I've heard of stupidly high numbers, supposedly severely built versions of the current Lancer Evo has been known to see as high as 1000hp, a local tuning shop has built 1000+ Wheel HP Nissan GTR's too:blink:
  22. Eh, I just figured they go with the Me Too Mid-Engined approach like most seem to go with, gotta give them a thumbs up for keeping the engine where it belongs!
  23. Just a little warning to those of us who use magnifiers in the pursuit of this hobby http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3008686#post3008686 Could have been worse, but luckily was only a D'OH!!! moment for him
