  1. That '65 stepside is a nice kit and have thought about buying one, Did you buy it in Chicago by chance?
  2. You're not the only one, I'd even consider a "Werecar" Bender from the 300 too
  3. They're both Proline Racing's Lexan 1992 Jeep Cherokee bodies made to fit the Axial SCX10, and they now make a couple '92 Comanche P/U's to fit the "Honcho" Tacoma cabbed, bedless p/u version of the SCX10.
  4. My Traxxas Ford Fiesta Rally came in today and I picked up the 2.4 Link reciever, second battery, parallel adapter, and some AA's so I can drive it tonight I did strip the sticker graphics though, thought they were UGLY!
  5. This kit was cleaner than I thought, no glaring sink marks and the seams were just noticeable enough to need cleaning up, so I debadged it at the same time....not like anybody wouldn't know it's a Viper without those there The Super Clean did a fantastic jot of stripping the paint and primer off the front bumper! Now all I have to do is re prime and paint the bumper then!
  6. I think I want one or three of these!
  7. While there's a distinct lack of Mopars in the list, that's no excuse to not re-power one of those kits with some Mo-Power
  8. Looks like the pond is doing it's thing, should be able to rinse it off and re-prime the part tomorrow!
  9. Woodland Scenics does make artificial snow, kinda looks like it could be that stuff http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/785-140
  10. I'm in awe that you started with a mid 60's GTO to get this FANTASTIC WORK!
  11. Here's the update pics The body and hood ,painted MM Flat Black Lacquer; Engine compartment pieces in the same flat black; More assorted pieces and engine; Interior painted GM Flame Red over a black primer, kinda looked like the Bordueax Red leather interior that my old Lebaron GTS had ; Wheels painted Graphite Metallic; Brake Rotors, painted Graphite Metallic with a Dull Coat in hopes that they'll look like Carbon Ceramic Rotors And now the one problem piece....the nose had issues with the paint, so it's off to the Purple Pond, hopefully it will strip it pretty quickly and cleanly so I can refinish it!
  12. Wow, the rest of the competitors must have hated you two, both builds are fantastic!
  13. Can't wait to see how this one goes!
  14. Got some more work done on it today before work
  15. Wonder what a Prius done up like this would look like
  16. I'd love to, but since I work at a hobby shop, I can't.................
  17. Yup, I just home somebody doesn't decide that there needs to be a minivan series, just imagine how many sponsors you can fit on one of those That does make me wonder..................
  18. I picked up both kits today, the only differences I could find were the Box, Decal sheet (not impressed with the roof decal, btw), instructions, and there was mention made on the box that it was boxed up in Germany, but made in China
  19. Two Corvette ZR1's one Revell and one Revell of Germany......and yes, the RoG kit is twice the price for nearly the same kit as Revell
  20. Oh, that's right....well, there still Top Gear, the internet, and Models to work on!
  21. I've worked retail for long enough to realize that the older way too many people get, the more immature they become, then I've seen way too many adult RC racers who don't seem to have the levels of maturity their pre-teen competitors show
  22. If you're going to put that much effort into woodwork, why not just finish the bodywork and paint the thing too
  23. Well, it's Superbowl Sunday and it's snowing again...........store's going to be jumping today
  24. Is it still an oil burner? Now that I think of it, that fin makes a nice billboard, bet that spot costs advertisers a pretty penny
