  1. Lol, I'd laugh pretty good if I saw a Prius with SMUG on the plates
  2. I'd take a Tucker, the Kaiser's, or just about any obscure car for that matter.
  3. In all honesty, I wouldn't even if I owned a shop. I would only carry the Revell with the expressed willingness to order the RoG versions if somebosy wanted to spend the extra dime.
  4. With Dad being a semi-retired railroader who primarily did track work, we have plenty of tools laying around that work well for that sort of work Lol, let him hear it
  5. I'll have to see if we have one of the RoG Vette's at work tomorrow. I know on some of their kits they claim their made in the European Union and even had a label of the E.U. flag proudly proclaiming so. Kinda curious to see where RoG claims that this and other shared kits were molded at.
  6. I noticed that a few years ago with the kits sold by both sides of Revell, I picked up both versions of the Viper SRT-10 Roadster and the only difference I could find were RoG specific box, instructions, and decals that had some European oriented stuff on it for an extra $7 I was kinda surprised by the difference in the ZR1's so I checked Tower's model site and even that's about twice the price, but found the "Tech Department Notes" to be amazing that for the exact same kit they dumbed down the Revell version's destription:blink: Revell ZR1 kit http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXYHV8&P=W and the Revell of Germany ZR-01 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXZRE1&P=W
  7. I'd buy a few of those Furies too, especially if they were 2in1 style kits
  8. Amazing, no, but a few of the Chicago burbs probably would seem like home to you if that's the case
  9. Looks good, I can see one of my neighbors building something like that!
  10. Wow, looks fantasic!
  11. Just picked up one of those '37 Pickups tonight, good looking build
  12. I'm planning on a vicious street car out of it, but what is funny though is that the color scheme is loosely based of my Nike weight lifting gloves.......only it took me a week before I figured out that's where it came from
  13. Just started this one last week and finally got the chrome parts stripped, some primer on it, and it the current progress photographed. I'm planning on painting it Flat Black, with a semigloss clear stripe from the duct back and a couple fine stripes of Flame Red separating the two, then using the same red for the interior and brake calipers, then using the Graphite Dust lacquer for the rims, only covered in Semigloss Clear, and then using the same Graphite for the brake rotors only dull coated in the hopes that they look like Carbon Ceramic rotors. I'll probably try and make a couple custom aluminum tail pipes while I'm at it too
  14. A bunch of paints, mainly for the Viper GTS I'm working on, then latest copy of Model Cars , and the '37 Ford Pickup 2in1.
  15. That was the idea, make a slightly smaller and cheaper car that had the appearance of a Cadillac without the expense and was easier to manage in day to day driving.
  16. Hell, I didn't know they were in town till yesterday!
  17. Looks good Drake!
  18. Lol, those could have been handy on the drive home for me and my co-worker Tuesday night!
  19. This ain't good, Dad blew up the snow blower's motor today just before I left for work.........and we're getting more this weekend
  20. Got that right before Thanksgiving, you all have my condolences!
  21. A big truck with a V-Plow should work nicely.......especially if you drive between the lanes like a motorcylce can
  22. Here's one of the pics I took today We finally finished after 6pm tonight....I then went upstairs and took a nap until dinner http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v698/bjoehandley/Random%20Photographs/Blizzard%202011/
  23. YIKES! At least they got out before it came down, looks like Godzilla fell on the place
  24. IIRC they'd have to change the front fenders and maybe hood too, I think the Daytona's used early production '70 Charger fenders.
  25. Well, the driveway and sidewalk is clear.....we broke the snow blower twice and maybe me now, but it's clear BTW for you local guys, the Sears parts center at Army Trail and Gary was closed today and the snow piled in front of the driveways were taller than my Cherokee
