  1. Just picked up one of those '37 Pickups tonight, good looking build
  2. I'm planning on a vicious street car out of it, but what is funny though is that the color scheme is loosely based of my Nike weight lifting gloves.......only it took me a week before I figured out that's where it came from
  3. Just started this one last week and finally got the chrome parts stripped, some primer on it, and it the current progress photographed. I'm planning on painting it Flat Black, with a semigloss clear stripe from the duct back and a couple fine stripes of Flame Red separating the two, then using the same red for the interior and brake calipers, then using the Graphite Dust lacquer for the rims, only covered in Semigloss Clear, and then using the same Graphite for the brake rotors only dull coated in the hopes that they look like Carbon Ceramic rotors. I'll probably try and make a couple custom aluminum tail pipes while I'm at it too
  4. A bunch of paints, mainly for the Viper GTS I'm working on, then latest copy of Model Cars , and the '37 Ford Pickup 2in1.
  5. That was the idea, make a slightly smaller and cheaper car that had the appearance of a Cadillac without the expense and was easier to manage in day to day driving.
  6. Hell, I didn't know they were in town till yesterday!
  7. Looks good Drake!
  8. Lol, those could have been handy on the drive home for me and my co-worker Tuesday night!
  9. This ain't good, Dad blew up the snow blower's motor today just before I left for work.........and we're getting more this weekend
  10. Got that right before Thanksgiving, you all have my condolences!
  11. A big truck with a V-Plow should work nicely.......especially if you drive between the lanes like a motorcylce can
  12. Here's one of the pics I took today We finally finished after 6pm tonight....I then went upstairs and took a nap until dinner http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v698/bjoehandley/Random%20Photographs/Blizzard%202011/
  13. YIKES! At least they got out before it came down, looks like Godzilla fell on the place
  14. IIRC they'd have to change the front fenders and maybe hood too, I think the Daytona's used early production '70 Charger fenders.
  15. Well, the driveway and sidewalk is clear.....we broke the snow blower twice and maybe me now, but it's clear BTW for you local guys, the Sears parts center at Army Trail and Gary was closed today and the snow piled in front of the driveways were taller than my Cherokee
  16. Somebody posted this on RCCrawler.com last night.....it's pretty accurate And on to the pics............. Here's our front yard, like I said, I'm going nowhere! and the Neighbor's Dad's Ranger, I had been parked by it when I got home last night and that drift behind it was nearly a foot at 11pm last night when I was finally able to park in the back yard after 11pm Here's the back of my Jeep and my Sister's Charger, keep in mind the bottom of my back bumper is is well over a foot off the ground And a couple more of my back yard, keep in mind that the fence is around 6ft tall or so and that giant pile in the second pic is what Dad put there with the snow blower
  17. I'm downloading pictures right now, I ain't getting out of the driveway with out at least a few hours of work
  18. IIRC the people I work for now had an order for a case or two of them when those Edsels came out, I remember seeing them behind the counter and being told that they were a special order for a local Edsel Owners Club when I expressed interest for one of them.
  19. Happy to ehar you made it ok Low! fun....suuuuuuure
  20. Before I forget, or get legitimately sick......... The parking lot at work just after 6:00pm, anybody who'd been to the store should recognize the view and one shot out the back door shortly there after. Don't let the bare spots fool you, that snow between the Honda and my Jeep was around ankle deep! The silver Honda got stuck and I ended up having to push it out when we left, I just powered through the same drift when I left a a few minutes later. Here's North Ave. and Rte. 59 in West Chicago. And Main Street, it was so dead that I actually stopped to take the pic and didn't cause a problem doing so!
  21. Well, the way I feel right now after spending a few hours outside with Dad clearing the drive By the time we gave up the fight, we both looked like a couple Yeti's
  22. Lol, Dad thinks it might take a wee bit longer, like mid Thursday The shop ended up closing at 6:30 tonight and so far we'll probably be open tomorrow........aaaaand.....I may have to work..................
  23. I've heard North Ave is about the only road that isn't a parking lot so far from the customers that have stopped in and Dad warned me not to get stuck on the way home tonight.....everything else we own would get stuck long before it gets to where ever I'd get stuck at
  24. Meh, it was an ugly car anyway
