  1. That's cool, who made those?
  2. I've begun to prefer the BTCC and Aussie Supercars over NA$CAR and F1, I've actually fallen asleep watching those but haven't had an issue with the other two
  3. Day one; Gassed up the Jeep, got Slurpees, surfed other sites, went to gym......... Day Two; Worked, flew new little Heli, had family friends over.......... Day three; Worked some more, flew new little heli some more after work, surfed other sites some more, went to gym right before forum came back on line
  4. Picked up a Revell '36 Ford 3 window yesterday now too...............
  5. Is this the same '55 that is now being sold as the gasser style drag car?
  6. Wow, looks fantastic!
  7. Most of the time I've seen those things stuck on some poor car, it was still rolling on it's factory 14" Steelies and cheesy plastic hubcaps...............wonder if I would catch nonsense for ones that read 28" or 29" to my Jeep.........it's tires are around that tall
  8. I think that vision blocker more of a "style" thing, otherwise I have not idea why on it either I am wondering on the blue lights too though.
  9. I guess it depends on the car and how it's built on the artillery wheels, personally I think they're kinda neat looking and might not look bad on a Pre-WW2 car or truck. Not sure how the milk truck rims look though, never seen those. I do like those too, they kinda have an "aero" look to them even though they're a vintage part and would look right on a more speed oriented hot rod. Those lights would look great on something like a road going Track-T or Lakes Roadster with some kinda of moon disk type wheels. Even if you're going to do a modern street rod like that, use the newer projector style lights in those with large aluminum disk type wheels and a nicely smoothed body.
  10. brought home one of the "Monogram" '58 T-Bird kits, looks nice too!
  11. I'm liking those tires
  12. I've been wanting to get one of these for a while now but didn't have much cash to spend on one until I got a little for Christmas and picked one as well as a spare battery up on the day after Christmas. I tried flying it in the kitchen at home with minimal success, so I took it to work and flew it in a much larger back room we have and have gotten pretty decent with it so far for having only put about 5 flights on it!
  13. That's great Lee, best of luck to you in it!
  14. IIRC it's a good kit that started out as a snap together about 12 years or so ago. The only "issue" I seem to remember is that the furthest forward portion of the hood doesn't quite get as close to the top of the front bumper as as it should, which you should be able to see on the pictures on the side of the box.
  15. Not sure what it is................
  16. Are these vans available new again?
  17. When....not soon enough if you ask me
  18. Wow, and I thought my kid sister's Charger could be tough to get into
  19. That could be a good one too Andrew!
  20. Depends on which snap kit you get, the current Revell 1/25 Snap-Tite/Wheel's of Fire/Hot Wheels kits' most of them are really well done for snap together kits, kinda like the AMT '09/'10 Vettes and Challengers, only with stickers and are molded in color. Besides the Impala ss/Caprice kits AgentG mentioned the first gen Viper kits and the 4th gen Camaro/Trans Am kits from Revell were also snappers when they first came out in the early-mid 90's, only those had some engine and suspension detail too. For a while AMT had been selling their dealer promo models un-assembled as snap togethers under the Snap Fast line of kits. The can build some nice looking models, even if you go simple Revell does have a severe and disappointing lack of Mopars in snap form though
  21. I'll take the Monkey Ward version, too much Billit on that last one, the brown leather looks awful, and the 33/34 like grill area to me is hideously wrong on anything (including the golf carts it reminds me of). Now had they gone back to the Deuce style grill, left the roof cantilevered, and stayed with the Torque Thrusts on taller and narrower tires, while pulling lowest portion of the front of the rear fenders in closer to the tub, that would have been an improvement.
  22. Who ever thought that should have been done to the car needs to be
  23. I'm digging that Trae, kinda makes me wonder what it would look like with some kind of flared fenders too now
  24. The HTU I work at got three in last night or this morning, as well as the Offy Motored Midget and the Squarebird reissue!
