  2. Thanks for all the kind comments guys much appreciated.
  3. Brilliant work Geoff, love the colour in fact I have a tin of it myself somewhere.
  4. Very happy to win this one today, I know this was has just been reissued but this is the original kit with the side window cutouts, been after it for a long time cost me £16.50 (approx $28 )
  5. Hi all this is the latest completed model off the bench, its the old AMT kit of the 65 Pontiac GTO. This one fought me along the way here and there with some fit issues, like a windsheild that just wouldn't fit , but it is a 40 year old kit I suppose. Even with the issues I had this was still a fun kit to build, the colour is a Vauxhall burgundy metallic, the closest I could get over here in the UK to the factory GTO burgundy, the wheels are Cragars form the parts box and the tyres are from the latest AMT 66 Mustang re-pop. Thanks for checking it out.
  6. I have the "Diamond In The Rough" kit upstairs, bought it about 10 years ago for about £25, its a very cool kit, but Id love to see more combo kits released especially the drag combos.
  7. Brilliant work Tulio, one of my favourite muscle cars of all time.
  8. 3rd this year !! you don't hang around do ya, im still working on one i started in December....but then I am very very slow,
  9. Thanks Lee amd Kyle I thought it might have been from that kit just not 100% sure, this is all I got so I guess I need to find the missing parts somewhere.
  10. Ok guys first sorry if this is the wrong forum to put this in, I was given this sprue which looks like a complete engine, can you help identify it and what kit it came from?, Im guessing its mopar maybe 6 pack ? so that would be the AMT Super Bee kit maybe ? Thankyou in advance.
  11. I did pick up a Fujimi Enthusiast (yes the kit with a ton of parts) Ferrari Daytona Speciale and a Fujimi curbside Ford GT40 for £15 the pair now thats a bargain!
  12. Superb work Marcus, love those old Celicas
  13. Superb Matt, I could kick myself I had the chance to buy a racing version of the Hasegawa Toyota 2000gt a few months back for £10 and I turned it down....wish I didn't now its a beautiful looking car, you have done a very good job on both of these. Now give me the keys to that Toyota !!
  14. Absolutely stunning build Bruno, where did you source the slot mags from they are very neat
  15. Here is my stash, pretty small compared to some of you guys, but these kits are very hard to get in the UK, Ive had a few of these for a very very long time.....
  16. Superb work Tom, I love the hubcaps, are they resin peices or from a different kit ?, look very similar to the stock wheels in the AMT 70 Impala kit.
  17. Superb work, looks fantastic love the weathering
  18. Thanks Gregg , I will take a look tomorrow very helpful advice
  19. With great difficulty ! ha ha ...no seriously we do have a couple of options one is"Fairy power spray" a kind of heavy duty dishwashing detergent , this stuff removes most paints without attacking the plastic, but it can take a few days, and the other is aerosol oven cleaner but this is hit and miss. I work in a car parts store and we have a few degreasers in the shop, I might take a look at the ingredients.
  20. If there's anything that makes me throw a kit back in the box its PAINT !!, Ive lost count of the amount of times I have shelved a build due to a bad paint finish or getting glue marks on a perfect paint job...you guys have the good old purple pond to rectify bad paint, unfortunately there is no such product in the UK.....how I wish there was !. So its a case of trying Oven cleaner which never works for me ..or rubbing the model down or ........shelving the thing !. Ive literally in the last few days shelved a 65 GTO build due to getting a glue spot on the perefct paint ..I cant bear to look at it for now.
  21. Styrene...as always !!

  22. Good build Glenn !! I think the paintwork is great and I like the detailing you have done .........especially the stuff in the loadbed ! Good work mate keep em coming.
  23. I love this, the look of the unfinished body with the open steels is just spot on !
  24. Very nice, been after one of these Bronco kits for a long time.
