  1. Looks great, Gregg! If this kit is a harbinger of the future MENG kits, it's truly going to be a golden age of modeling, indeed! Moebius, MENG, improved Revell. Wow!!
  2. If you're getting repetitive unwanted calls on a cell phone, your service provider (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc.) has a feature that allows you to block a specific number, so that you never know they're calling no matter how many times they try. With Verizon, it only lasts 90 days, but you can renew it if 90 days doesn't discourage the caller. Great stuff. And, it doesn't cost anything. Even better! Now, we just need an unwanted poster block feature.
  3. Yikes!
  4. Yep. Both rooms! Both rooms full! It's gonna be a beautiful day ~ high in the middle 80's ~ we may have vendors in the parking lot!!!
  5. That's okay, Russ. By the end of the day, you'll be rich with new friends, new clubs, and new experiences! We'll get you hooked up.
  6. Russ, Never fear . . . There's relief not far away. Try Andy's Hobby Headquarters, SW corner of 59th Avenue and Greenway. Saturday is a great swap meet at DESERT SCALE CLASSIC . . . 9AM to 3PM . . . 3720 W. Greenway Road. And next month, HobbyTownUSA will open at 3401 W. Greenway Road ~ large plastic kits retail store with R/C tracks, plus indoor go-karting and indoor/outdoor RC tracks. A real hobbyist's mecca.
  7. Maybe not so much a feat as a symptom of an addiction. Thanks, Rich
  8. Outstanding!
  9. Very nice!!
  10. Quick Notes: Online Registration will close at 3pm MST tomorrow, Friday, April 11. Walk-in Registration starts at 9am MST Saturday, April 12, and will close at Noon MST. Also: Biggest swap meet we've ever had! More vendors, more tables than ever before! Do Not Miss DESERT SCALE CLASSIC 10!
  11. I see you aren't far behind, Carl. I hear your footsteps . . .
  12. Maybe. But you better be sure to have a current parks pass!
  13. Mark, You might check at Desert Scale Classic on Saturday. One of the usual local vendors is Avalon Books. He usually sells contest issues along with recent magazine issues when he has a table at the swap meet. See you Saturday!
  14. Casey, My kit is an unmolested original . . . it has 10 of the Goodyear 10.00x20 Custom Hi-Miler tires like the eight you picture from your kit. The wider tires are not in my kit. The only references I've found ~ so far ~ indicate Allison trannys were used across the board on the Astros and Titans, including the Allison turbine powered tractors. I don't know about whether the axles appear in any other tractor kits. Hope this helps.
  15. You got me there, G!

    Beautiful!
  17. Nice.
  18. Good question. I noticed that, too.
  19. Sweet.
  20. For whatever it's worth, hit a milestone today. 10,000 posts (and counting) with zero warning points! (Although there have been a couple of close calls with one ~ note, one ~ moderator! But I just take into account that he suffers from HTA - hair trigger affliction. ) It's been a pleasure hanging out with y'all!
  21. Mark, Uh . . . I dunno. I'll have to check that! Thanks for the tip. PS: See you Saturday!
  22. Good job!
