  1. Tim, Tom, Please help me out here, if you wouldn't mind. I once knew the names of all six of the Nameless ones. Tom Woodruff, Tim Boyd, Andy Martin, Chuck Hellpie; but who were the others? Tim, Thanks for your comments on the Lumina. I had great fun with that, but I have to say Mr. Gustavson didn't seem quite as amused when he saw it!
  2. You gonna have my 6? Be there for me with a scoop shovel and a push broom when TJ gets done with me?
  3. Good thing she happens to be in charge of ordering, since your showgirl radar found her! Double bonus.
  4. Ahhh, would that we could have either in resin ... or even styrene!
  5. Very cool! Love the tattered seat. Good job!
  6. Yer on, dude! Although you're really stunting my style (that's what you said: 'style-to-style') with the 'only in the box' thing. Oh, wait! You said detailing is okay, too. I'm in. I'm looking forward to it! PS: I like the old Ford, too. Although I've had a few of those dang Chargers for years now and just haven't gotten around to tackling one. I was secretly hoping you'd go for that, just so I'd HAVE to build one!! LOL. And, TJ, thanks for the comments about the woody. I really enjoyed that build and I really like it too, if I may say so without setting off any 'arrogant'-alarms anywhere. But, isn't it always better when you like what you're doing, or what you've done? And to have others like it, too, well that's just cream frosting on a great cake!
  7. That's what made my tongue-in-cheek Lumina all the more fun! Phantom . . . and not a chance! Besides, I loved the word play with Lumina and Luminary. I mean, it was right there! I hadda do it. The devil made me. Honest.
  8. This could be fun.
  9. Excellent build, Tom! More the better that it has real meaning to you.
  10. Neat! What do they run (cost-wise)??
  11. Thanks, G! That means a lot from you, my friend. Always nicer to meet the approval of those you know and respect!
  12. See what happens when I'm out in the trenches most of the day, fightin' crime and all that? Mr. Jessee sneaks in a little gauntlet-tossing! TJ! Old friend! Sounds like a plan. And I get to pick? Hmmm. Lemme see. We've both already done some of the usual suspects: JoHan Plymouth Fury. Lindberg Crown Wick. AMT Dodge Monaco. Revell Caprice. No challenges there, and you built the box art model for the Monaco. MPC Force 440? Possibility. Revell Impala ... hmm, possibility. I haven't seen any you've built, but I've done a couple already. And I've done a couple of the Revell Magnums. I think it would be more fun to make it something neither of us has done yet. Oh! Hey! Revell Mustang 5.0 LX? Have you done one of those yet? {Complete disclosure: I have two in progress, neither finished, but I also have another kit I haven't cracked open yet.} Revell '57 Ford Custom? Revell '57 Chevy 210 post? How about the Testors Dodge Charger? Not too many of those have shown up in built form. (I haven't seen any you've built and I haven't built one yet.) Ever the gentleman, I'll give you a choice of three I'm comfortable with. Whaddya say? Mustang 5.0 LX, '57 Ford Custom, or 2006 Dodge Charger? Back to you; my serve, your volley. Which shall be our weapons of choice, my friend? Old Ford, little Ford, or Charger? This does sound like fun! (Although I feel a little like David, squaring off with Goliath!!)
  13. Thanks, Niko! Thanks, John! I feel very fortunate to have guys like the two of you find merit in my work! I really enjoy scoping out your builds, both of you!
  14. Remember when the NNL sponsored a NASCAR entry?
  15. Thanks, Bill! Thanks, Chris!
  16. Those are superb models!
  17. That's a cool kit!
  18. Thanks, Mike and Harry! High praise indeed coming from builders of your stature.
  19. Nice.
  20. It' snow big deal, really.
