    Yes. Same box for all the hardtop kits issued in '58; different box for all the convertibles. There were white tape stickers on each end of each box that identified the specific car inside.

    $1.39. About 10 minutes after it hit the shelf . . . 1958. For those too young to recognize what it is, it's an AMT 1958 3n1 model kit. A 1958 Buick hardtop, to be precise.

    Why should Revell bother creating a new tool kit of a Willys ... or anything else for that matter? The "experts" would just trash it. I agree, however, that stock Willys are cooler than cool should be allowed to be!

    Beautiful, Steve! Couple of questions, if I may impose. 1. Which kit did you use? 2. What visual differences are there between your 2002 and a 2001? I have a gift in mind for a close friend, who has a 2001 roadster. Thanks in advance, and, again, beautiful model!!

    Perhaps Ford's licensing people didn't consider it as inaccurate as all us Mustang LX experts in this hobby do. (Before any flame-throwers or keyboard-bazookas fire up, please note that I agree the kit's body does not appear to be 100% dead-on precisely accurate.) I'm just saying . . .
