    street rod tub

    Wow! That's SWEET!!
  2. That brake pedal is off the charts, John!
  3. Duel, duelly, duellie, duelie: none anywhere close to correct. "Duel" is a conflict or combat, such as dueling with pistols at 40 paces. The correct term for paired wheels/tires is "dual." Thus, a truck with paired rear wheels/tires would be referred to as a dually or duallie, depending on the manufacturer's choice as both are slang words. "Duel" is not correct.

    56' T-Bird

    Nice.
  5. Wow, John! Slow down, will ya? You're gonna be done before I can wrap my head around it!

    BMW Z8

Dash looks crooked, too. Glad to know there are problems with this kit; I've been tempted to buy one, but now . . .

    1967 Camaro

    Very nice!
  8. God be with you, Terry. You have friends and family here. Let us know what and when you need. My prayers and I are with you.
  9. KEWL!
  10. I was just busting Jonathan's chops! I've just about got him broken of the bad habit of calling it 'steeps.'
  11. Congratulations to your daughter, and to you, Ray!
  12. Nice. But, I've never seen a neglected, abandoned emergency vehicle with a beacon that didn't have a busted up dome!
  13. Looks good! But since you asked . . . three little things (aside from wiring and plumbing): First, where you have flame decals crossing door opening lines, they'll look much, much better if you slit the decal and use a little setting solution to snuggle the decal edges into the door openings. Second, the embossed patent info on the chassis pan (just above your driveshaft u-joints) sticks out like a sore thumb; detracts from the beauty of your model. Third, same is true of the seam down the middle of the engine bell housing. It's those little details that really make a difference!
  14. What you refer to as 'inner fender edges' was actually part of the grille piece, often referred to as the 'hoop.' The entire 1:1 unit (grille, headlamp bezels, hoop) was one piece, delivered either black (for those models that had black grille) or argent (for the base models). It was up to the customer or shop to mask and paint the 'hoop' body color. Many didn't bother, which is why you see so many 1:1 '69 Camaros with black or argent hoops rather than body color.
  15. Okay! Sorry about the mis-attribution. You're right ~ it is just a hair large, but you made it look good. Did you do the reflectors yourself? They look great!
  16. Did you order a Steeps or a Stepp's?
