Anybody remember Hollywood Jim's lowrider with the light-up flamethrower exhausts?
Similar idea, similar effect. Jim did it safely with clear plastic, fiberoptics, LEDs, a battery and a magnetic reed switch.
Al Raab does. Ma's Resin is the business name.
Haven't gotten any yet, but the pix look great and the people that have them say the castings are terrific!
Tell Al I sent you. It won't mean anything to him, and it won't get you a discount, but I'll get a kick out of it!!
Very nice!! Love those old Jags and yours look great!
I have a couple of those XKSS kits in my stash. I've been intending to build one, but now I don't have to. I'll just print an image of yours and put it on my shelf.
Couldn't do any better than that myself anyway.
I truly hope Gregg is taking serious note of this build, and arranging a photography session worthy of the exquisite artistry and incredible talent displayed in this thread.
This build could be an entire issue all by itself!!
Wow. Well, if you really wanna stretch the gray matter, reach back into KWBB's rock-n-roll heydays and recall Randy Landis, Dick Schmidt, DJ Jones, and the 'BB News Director Jim Setters?
We are 'on topic.'
We're talking cop cars here. Issue 158 includes mentions of police car or security patrol car versions/parts in the kit review of the big '76 Chevy and the Hubley history piece. Voila! On topic.
Outstanding model, Dave.
BUT ~ ~ ~ you're not allowed to post that many pictures of a single model and that many similar poses . . . unless it's an orange Charger with a big "01" on the side!
