  1. I hear ya. But, I've been waiting for a 1/25 Batmobile for 45 years now. I can wait another 6 months. It's no sweat any more.
  2. Very nice!! Good luck.
  3. What a great thread! Very punny! Still laughing ...
  4. Dittoes!! ANY Golden Hawk would be great!!!
  5. I concur, Jairus and Crank. I just hadn't gotten into that article yet when I posted the original. The more I look at that tractor, the more I respect it, too. It is definitely outstanding in its field!
  6. That's a deal! I just recently paid that much over the counter (including taxes and taxes and more taxes) for a scaley otto pamphlet. And that doesn't include gas & wear/tear on the 1:1 to get to the LHS.
  7. That's fair. I always thought the General Lee should have been a GMC.
  8. Well said, Mark. You know, I struggled with the domestic vs. foreign thing. But then I remembered that virtually every "domestic" vehicle that I've seen done up 'tuner style' has been what I'd call a "domestic-badged car of foreign origin" in some manner or another.
  9. What I usually say when I see a Teresimodel: Unfreakingbelievable! I just don't know how you do it ... and do it ... and do it ... and do it. And, yes, Harry's wrong. Not every real car stays showroom fresh or is unaffected by being driven and used. Just sayin.'
  10. Tough to nail down, as everybody has their own personal interpretation of the norm; however, in general terms, as defined in part by Wikipedia, it can be said, [Tuners are] "Japanese vehicles, such as a Honda Integra DC5, Mitsubishi GTO, Toyota Supra, Nissan Skyline, Mazda RX-7, Subaru Impreza, and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution series. These cars are most commonly modified with the more expensive mods available. The most popular modifications include suspension upgrades, exhaust systems, and turbos." The purpose is generally to improve the car's performance, handling, presentation and/or improve and display the owner's style of appearance or driving. Common modifications include racing-inspired paint, graphics, and appearance accessories such as aero-kits, bumper covers, spoilers, splitters, whaletails, vents, and scoops. Most modifications are in the nature of bolt-on components.
  11. Wow! Great start!
  12. Why not resin cast what you need? That way you would only have to raid an '02 once for as many as you need. Just a thought.
  13. And, the Hobbytown USA in Gilbert carries it. Wonder why Andy doesn't.
  14. Yeah, you don't want to mess with the warriorcops!
  15. Agreed! And, as I've said before ... it is a spectacular kit, with or without tank seams!
  16. What on earth were you doing to earn all that 'special handling?'
  17. Three words: 'Watch yer head!'
  18. Nice looking lonnngroof!
