  1. Wow! Tommy, great build. I missed it earlier, but glad I caught up with it now. Excellent interior and the engine is sweet. Looking forward to the finished product.

    I agree: very, very nice!
  3. Lyle, Very neat! I really like "first car" projects. And, it's great to see you here, posting a build/WIP. Looking forward to watching the progress.
  4. No, he just looks like he won that one. The actual defoliation preceeded the model. However, he polished both Pate and Porsche at the same time.
  5. Precisely my point.
  6. So the MCM company cars are Short Tauruses?
  7. I'm waiting to see it when you've finished polishing it out.
  8. I basically agree, although there are some aspects that I might debate. However, you clearly have a point.
  9. That's INCREDIBLE!!!! Amazing!! Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see this one done.
  10. Oooooh. I'm wounded. At least you didn't broadcast any of my personal health and hygiene information.
  11. I think my sarcasm font is broken. It seems I am unable to post any sarcastic comments, unlike some people I know ...
  12. Benefits aren't much, but I hear the pay is great!
  13. Nice job, dude! Seriously, wasn't this one "Best Finish" at GSL and Model Cars Magazine "Best Use of Color" or something like that? Quite the exquisite finish!
  14. Uh, huh. ANY time on the Mall is too much time on the Mall.
  15. A whole new perspective on meat wagons.
  16. Ohhhhhh, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh. But didja live in a commune in Nederland? Farm out, dude! Barefoot on Pearl Street Mall in the dead of winter! Pass the arctic flip-flops. Rocky Mountain Spring Water? Pass the Ralphie rawlf. Go buff, go Buffs!
  17. Maybe they flunked the entrance exam for the witness protection program.
  18. Psssssssst: David. Shhh. Don't look now, but your preposition is dangling.
  19. Huh? Oh, whoops! I thought this thread was for Mustang Lovers. Sorry for the interruption. Carry on.
  20. Great project, Jon. Good luck!
  21. I use the black fly "tails" for fanbelts and such.
  22. Pete, Simon, It would be a real hoot to get together with you guys in April 2011 at the Desert Scale Classic 7! However, that probably won't work. Pete hasn't been here yet for DSC, and Simon burned the town down when he was here last year! There may still be some warrants outstanding! LOL. You guys would love each other's work! You both build incredible sports cars - Pete in 1/12 scale and Simon in 1/43! (I glue together snapkits in 1/25.) Simon, we missed you at IPMS. Hope to see both of you again sooner rather than later.
  23. Isn't that a southpaw seaman 1st class?
