  1. W . . . T . . . F? How'd I miss this one?????? Amazering, Johnny M'Man!!!
  2. Extended forecast is currently indicating it should be partly cloudy, no rain, and high 83-84 degrees. Right on the avg high for the date. Forecast for the show is "Awesome Event!"
  3. That SURE looks familiar, Randy! I miss the Rockies, especially Colorado, but I'm glad I had the chance to retire the snow shovel, ice scraper, chains, frozen door locks, and thermal underwear! Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks!!
  4. AMT is releasing (June) a double pack of dirt bikes - 1/25 scale! The old bikes from the '70s era MPC Dodge pickup and van kits! Woooo hooooo!
  5. That's definitely different! Nice bui . . . job, Harry.
  6. No problem, Kurt. Check us out next year - DESERT SCALE CLASSIC (#13) will be Saturday, April 8, 2017, 3401 W. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85053.
  7. Congrats, Russ!!!
  8. Good to know. Thanks, Jairus and Tim. Learn something new every day!
  9. Niiiice! All we get here in the city is coyotes, occasional javelina, and lots of chihuahuas.
  10. Kurt, There are tables available for DESERT SCALE CLASSIC on Saturday, April 9, but only a couple. Let us know quickly; we're about to sell out. If you're interested in a 'Cars/Trucks/Motorcycles Only' swap meet, DSC is the one for you. It will be a target-rich environment. No airplanes, armor, tanks, ships, figures, quilts, ashtrays or other stuff. Please either see the thread for DESERT SCALE CLASSIC in this forum, or visit the Cactus Car Modelers website (www.cactuscarmodelers.com) and select the DESERT SCALE CLASSIC buttons, for more info. FYI - DSC's 2016 date was set and published over a year ago, not just 5 months ago. We have already established event dates for the next eight years. Nothing last minute, no confusion. Just remember - "2nd Saturday Every April." We'd love to have you join us.
  11. Jairus ~ Aren't those Monogram '30 Fords 1/24th scale rather than 1/25th? I don't recall being able to mix and match parts between the Monos and the AMTs & Revells. Or, am I mistaken. {I don't have either handy to check.}
  12. Gotcha. Back to your original question. Beats me. Looks to be a little phantom/phantasy. I googled 'supercharged Ford DOHC' and got nothing that looked like Clearly Scale's resin motor. That 'Monstercharged' engine mocked up in the Model A would be a whole lot more than that car could handle . . . especially since it's sitting in a stock frame. Even with just one supercharger the 351 could likely twist that frame.
  13. That would be a short-sighted, myopic point of view. It's not a donation. One gets great value from a subscription. The magazine is terrific! Receiving it at your residence without having to travel to a retail store and spend fuel and time to retrieve it is fantastic. And, it supports the magazine with subscriber numbers which drive advertising rates which means financial stability. Win-win. What's not to love?

  15. A little more info, please, Lee? I perused the new issue (#200) over the past few days and when I saw your post, I couldn't remember any reference to a 'Monster Charger,' either resin or otherwise. I went back through the issue and found nothing. Just in case the previous issue (#199) was the one you referenced, I went through it as well. I still did not find a 'Monster Charger' reference. Help us figger out what you're asking about (you've got me curious!). Thanks!
  16. What he said!
  17. Outstanding!
  18. Well, we DO have a "Display" Table for unfinished projects, Chris. Oh, wait. You KNOW that! Sorry. PS: Do you want your USUAL same spot on the Display Table?
  19. Oh, yeah. A practice abandoned a lonnnnnnng time ago. A generation or so before my LEO career began. Back when Agent G was a Road Guard.
