  2. Paint looks great.. Nicely done.
  3. Paint looks great and the detail in the engine compartment is nice too.. Great job. 70 was always my favorite year 'Cuda.
  4. Nice.. Look forward to watching the progress.
  5. Oooook.. Soo not much from last night. Just roughing in the turbo locations in place of the parking lights in the grill and removing the inner fenders. Decided to go with a LS engine and twin turbos. The grill broke on me while drilling out the holes so I had to call it a night while the glue setup. Hopefully tonight Ill be able to get a little more done. As always feel free to comment and/or make suggestions. Thanks.
  6. Decided to move this to the drag racing section since this will become one.. Since I can never finish one thing before moving on to another I broke out an old kit that I had done back in the late 90's for a redo. Im still not 100% sure what route I will take with this car but I just wanted to do something different and to push myself while trying new modifications along with way. So I guess I'll travel down this rabbit hole and see what obstacles will come and hopefully surprise myself in the process. Unfortunately, I did not think about snapping any pics of the car before I did the tear down so my apologizes for that. I grabbed this pic of the box off the net so you know which kit I am referencing. I am leaning towards a modern day drag car and with all the great builds here from tyrone's 91 LX outlaw & 70 Nova, Red rocket 10's Super Gas SS Camaro and to Codi's Falcon as well as many others that I have looked at and admire and to get ideas from and hopefully make this into a car I will be proud of in the end.. So with that said I got the most of the car torn apart and the body sanded, primed and sanded again last night.. My hope is to get another coat of primer tonight along with another quick sand down and hopefully some color.. Any ideas on which color!!??!! The hood is gonna need a little work. It along with the front spoiler are from a 69 Motion kit that I've had in which the body was trashed previously before I acquired it. As always tips, comments and/or suggestions are always welcome. Thanks for looking and take care.
  7. Its amazing the abilities to use software to help build projects... Awesome work.!!.
  8. That paint looks great.. That is definitely an interesting color combo with the interior..
  9. Looks great.. Always liked those cars.
  10. Thanks to MIke 1017 for the easy and smooth transaction on the tires..
  11. Thanks.. Little progress. I am definitely not proud of this one but I want to finish it so I can move on to the next one.. Getting closer.
  12. So Ive been out in the garage all day and I get all the interior installed, chassis fixed painted and glued, bumpers glued, leafs & diff & I get to installing the engine and Im trying to get it square to the body and Im struggling.. I finally get it where I am sorta satisfied and step back to look at it and I see this twist.. Im like how did I glue the chassis with a twist..??.. Bust it apart and get it perfectly inline from the underside and look again.. Still looks twisted!!! Pull the chassis and look at the body by itself.. The front fenders are twisted!! First I have ever run into this on a model.. Needless to say I am beyond disgusted.. Doing a search now to see if there is an option to get it square but its pretty bad and Im kicking myself for not seeing it sooner.. Gonna try the hair dryer method and see what happens.. Chalk up another rookie mistake for not test fitting everything first..
  13. Just got back from my trip to Ollies.. Here are my scores.
  14. Dude that is nice... Hands down my favorite body style Mustang.
  15. Love this build.. Attention to decal is top notch.. Have you decided on a body color or are you basing this off an existing 1:1 car?
  16. Nice love the color.
  17. Its not pretty but the interior is finished.
  18. Just received my trade from Dragline. Great trader!
  19. Definitely a cool build. Keep it up as Im not sure I could do the cutting and chopping or make it any better.
  20. Great work so far. Personal opinion but the wheels on the left when the centers are painted gray remind me of the 2004 Bullitt Mustang wheels. Maybe its the chrome lip. I like the ones on the right as to me they look more like traditional TTd's.
  21. Thanks. Started on the interior.
  22. So today I had a little mishap.. While trimming some of the chassis the knife slipped and apparently I had a little too much force behind it.. I ended up breaking off part of the most of the front suspension.. Wouldnt have been a big deal but those pieces that broke off ended up going into the abyss of the garage.. Soooo back to the drawing board and decided to make this a gasser.. Little cutting, trimming & we had the front axle. Still need to make the steering linkage but I have some ideas for that.
  23. Another great idea.. Thank you!
  24. Thanks for the tips!! Really appreciate it.
