  1. Both are gone for now AITM is not up in the air Doug was forced to close AITM for good.
  2. Well said Brother! For years I watched you suffer beating off the pirates who love to copy your magnificent long hours scratch built work to sell it for pennies on the dollar under the the table. Thank goodness those years are behind us both as I suffered the same way only in the 1/87 HO scale as you know. Now we can just build and have fun. Hope to see one of your beautiful creations here in the “Under Glass” section.
  3. Yes it demands a lot. When my Brother Bill was casting his products in the late 80s early 90s it was almost full time for him. I remember him saying he would talk for hours on the phone to customers taking away from his family time. Just another reason he closed up shop. I was very disappointed after he sold his rights and Masters to Jammie and he hasn’t casted much of my Brother’s beautiful and accurate work. I’ve learned long ago if you want something in resin you better get it now because who knows tomorrow they may be out of business.
  4. You can get everything on his list and something’s he doesn’t advertise call him. He told me he was redoing his Photo ech for the AMT White Western Star side badges and a grill to make the 4000 White to make a White Western Star.
  5. Most of that 80% wasn’t “Dave’s” he just casted what everyone sent him and just cleaned up Jim Etters and Doug Compton’s stuff (Who took over after Jim Etter) and never gets any credit for “His” hard work to keep it alive all through the the late 80s and early 90s Dave just rode on the coat tails of these fabulous Master Builders.
  6. Yes call him directly still the same number he’s had for over 40 years
  7. Thanks all of you sharing your beautiful builds. Wish I could have finished a few build myself but life got in the way but for the better this time with a job change.
  8. Now all we need is a Host.
  9. Al. Very nice post some more please. We don’t mind.
  10. Let’s see those Big Rigs you built in 2022.
  11. You guys going to have a BRBO 2023 this year??
  12. Always liked this trailer
  13. Alex looks great I like the colors
  14. Looks fantastic. Don’t worry about those fenders I had a real 1.1 1968 Diamond Reo that the fenders did the same thing looks very convincing.
  15. Very nice Al. I like the Pirkle decals
  16. Nice finish Ken I like the color combo’s
  17. Thanks for the complement going to make some stacks for it and do some work on the headache rack then I’m calling it done
  18. Very nice scratch work I may have to borrow your recipe some day
  19. Before calling it quits for the day I added some license plate decals to the bumper and Company decals to the tanks and a stripe to the Luberfiner
  20. I’ve often thought about filling them with resin but I’ve built so many I really don’t pay attention to them. To be honest I wouldn’t waste my time on fixing them and focus my energy on what’s going to be seen than unseen. That’s just my opinion. Your updates look nice and I like how you’re fixing the dash. I’ve thought about framing up a couple of mine several times in the pass but never did.
  21. Thanks me too. I got the wheels from the AMT Volvo N10. Hope to finish this one tomorrow or tonight
  22. While having my 1/32 scale out I ran across this build from 2019. So I decide to build on it and maybe finish this one too. Last night I added the Cab lights, Horns, Tarp, Luberfiner and mounted the Cab/Sleeper to the frame. Today I made some bracelets for the toolbox and filed the bumper down thinner and de-chromed it.
  23. Thanks for the complement. I have the Kenworth T-600 but haven’t really looked at it closely. The details are nice on this one they changed the wheels to more of a tubeless type than a tube type as were on there early kits. I like how you are fixing the dash in your T-600 I have a Peterbilt 359 dash I need to fix like that. I’ll have more updates later.
