  1. I think I have it. If so, I've learned something new....once again!!!
  2. Lots of great info coming about these workhorse pickups!! Keep it coming!
  3. I just made an order for some dog dish caps. I'm glad to see the letter they submitted. I only wish more of the casters out there had the same dedication to the hobby.
  4. WOW!!! And it's a Club Cab! My Dad bought a new '73 longbed, and I remember not being pleased because he didn't spring for the Club Cab!
  5. They are commanding healthy prices on eBay. Just saw a '78 priced at $150.
  6. I like the fact that the GTX has "Factory Approved Scale Parts". Which factory........Fiat?? LOL
  7. A couple other subtle differences between '78 and '79 LRE trucks.... The front wheels on a '78 were not as wide as the rear wheels. The '79 had the wider wheels all around. Also, the '78 didn't have catalytic converters, and the '79 did.
  8. IIRC, there is a difference in front turn signal lens between '77 and '78. I think the '77 was white, or clear, and the '78 was amber. My '78 LRE had the amber lens. I think my uncle's '77 longbed D100 had the white lens. Of course, it makes no difference in kit form, as they are chrome plated, anyway. HAHA
  9. Came out nice, considering it was an ABS (Already Been Started).
  10. I suspect you're right about that, Casey! Just some wishful thinkin' on my part! LOL
  11. Wouldn't it be nice if they included all four versions of the grille and hood? And, here's a crazy thought........long bed, short bed, step bed, 4x2, and 4x4 parts all in one giant box!!! Would be a great opp to rebuild all those ancient glue bombs!!! LOL
  12. There is also this version of the stepside bed: Basically, the LRE, I assume.
  13. I wonder what kinda time frame we're looking at with this one.
  14. I'd like to have one of these: I also wonder if the dirt bike parts will be in the re-issue?
  15. I enjoyed building this kit back in the mid nineties: My stepson had a real one at the time. His did have the black centers in the wheels.

A real beauty! I'm liking the fade paintjob down the sides. Well done on this one!!
  17. Verrrry nice!!! I may hafta go ahead and get one of these kits, instead of wondering about it!

  19. Very nice Oldsmobile! I like it in gold! A real stand out machine.
  20. Great looking Buick! I think you've done a fine job!
  21. My goodness, what a sharp El Camino!!
  22. I do like it! Very subtle custom touch. Looks like it cudda been a factory job!
