  1. I like the turquoise idea. That's a "sixties" color, IMO.
  2. Nice work on the skirt removal! I might go for the aluminum rim on those wheels. Here's a wheel I was always partial to: I like the Torque Thrust, and the Cragar SS, but these Keystones look very nice on a classic MOPAR!!!
  3. Looks like a waste of a nice Mustang, to me!
  4. Very cool color! Well done on this rebuild!!
  5. It looks like the Sport Fury came with skirts as standard equipment. Very easy to ditch them when ya get the ride home, tho! LOL
  6. Here's one with apparently altered rear fenders: http://bringatrailer.com/2014/03/23/4-speed-426-1965-plymouth-sport-fury/
  7. Well........it would be more than one for me: 1962 Chevrolet "Palamino" 1962 Studebaker Lark 1959 Cadillac 1969 Dodge SuperBee If I hit the big lottery.......why not have 'em all?? LOL
  8. How 'bout a Fox pickup?
  9. Personally, I like the skirts, no matter what the wheels and tires are. A lot of car guys thru the sixties used skirts on their cars, especially the full size cars. All kinds of skirts were available in the J.C.Whitney catalog, even chrome plated! I recently saw a bright red mid-sixties Ford Galaxie sporting a set of chrome plated skirts and after market wheels.
  10. Would that be considered Grand Theft Auto?
  11. "Dyin' ain't much of a livin', boy"
  12. Very nice save on this one, Mike!
  13. Looks more like a four door Lambo!!!!!!
  14. I like this sharp little black rocket Olds! The black looks really smooth!! I had two cousins who each owned a '67 4-4-2 . One was a charcoal gray with 4 speed. The other was an off-white with automatic. Beautiful cars!!
  15. I live in the general area around Nashville, Tennessee. I ordered a package from somewhere in California a few years back. It went to Boston, where it had a two day layover, then to Memphis for a two day vacation, and then to Nashville, where it bounced around different facilities for nearly a week! Finally, somebody in the Music City decided to send it 80 miles south to Lawrenceburg, where they brought it to me the next day! Recently, I haven't had that much trouble, but sometimes they do still bounce around. Some east coast stuff goes right past Nashville to Memphis, only to turn around and go back 200 miles to Nashville!! HAHAHAHA
  16. "Just be yourself, sir. Whatever happens, they can't take that away from you."
  17. I don't remember if I've posted for these guys, but I've had very smooth trades with them: CASEY, DINWIDDIECOUNTRY, GARDNERPAG44 It makes the hobby even more fun knowing there are builders out there that are willing to help one another out.
  18. Well...I got this one right!
  19. "Yeah, it's a 50 caliber. They used to use it to hunt buffalo with... up close! It's only legal in two states. And this isn't one of them."
  20. Odd looking little cruiser!
  21. Fantastic look to this one! The chrome is just the right amount! Looks great next to its sibling, too!
  22. I think they may have been peeking behind the curtains when Dodge created the 1966 Charger.
  23. This is a beautiful rendition of a '67 Ford! So well executed in every aspect, and none of it overdone. It seems each year model thru the sixties had its own unique look, and I like them all from 1960 up to 1970. And, I'm a MOPAR guy!
  24. I kept thinking "Japanese", due to the resemblance to a 240Z. But, I had no luck, there!! HAHAHA
