  1. Fantastic look to this one! The chrome is just the right amount! Looks great next to its sibling, too!
  2. I think they may have been peeking behind the curtains when Dodge created the 1966 Charger.
  3. This is a beautiful rendition of a '67 Ford! So well executed in every aspect, and none of it overdone. It seems each year model thru the sixties had its own unique look, and I like them all from 1960 up to 1970. And, I'm a MOPAR guy!
  4. I kept thinking "Japanese", due to the resemblance to a 240Z. But, I had no luck, there!! HAHAHA
  5. The '65 has steerable front wheels, and an opening trunk. The '66 has a metal axle in front. One could use the '65 chassis on a '66, and go ahead and cut the trunk open.
  6. This is a beautiful '66 Ford! I really like the color on this build! If you'll pardon a slight thread hijack, I'll show the '65 and '66 Galaxie chassis from the AMT kits: The red one is from the '66 kit. They will both fit under the '66 body.
  7. As the owner of a 1968 Imperial convertible, I have but one comment for the deStruction of this rare car......."WHAT A SHAME!!!"
  8. I have an email address for Time Machine Resins: timemachineresin@comcast.net This is on a box for a '69 Barracuda convertible i got from them in October, 2017. It might still be a good address. They are located in Nashville, Tennessee.
  9. Or could it be wild custom Pinto??
  10. I think that's pretty cool!
  11. 1975 Ford Flashback (Ghia)
  12. Not quite sure. My concern would be the adhesive on the foil turning loose after it warmed up.
  13. I actually got this one right. Odd little buggy, but I'd have one. Of course, I'd take an AMC Pacer, too!
  14. Yup!! Here's another exchange from that movie: Jack Walsh: How much is here? Jonathan Mardukas: Neighborhood of three hundred thousand dollars. Jack Walsh: That's a, that's a very respectable neighborhood.
  15. "Well if you don't shut up, pretty soon you're gonna suffer from fistaphobia." Here's one for yuze gize!
  16. So, what is this car?
  17. My goodness! That's a fine conversion! I never thought of backdating those parts to an older Poncho!
  18. Great Chevy!! This is one I didn't know about. There was a Jim Reed Chevrolet dealership in Nashville, Tennessee, back in the day. I bought a used Dodge from them in '79.
  19. Great looking firewall and engine! Nice touch with the heater box bolts! Very cool!
  20. I think that may be true for earlier years, too. http://www.engine-swaps.com/Pages/ProductsType/K-Frames.html Sorry for the thread high-jack! LOL
  21. If I can get me mittens on one of these Cordoba trans kits, I would immediately check the chassis in this kit to see if it works: This is the 1:1 car the Cordoba is more closely related to, albeit in 2 door form. Actually, any of these chassis should do: Of course, I'm just speculating, here. I don't have the Cordoba stuff in hand.....yet!
  22. I have a few of these ElCamino kits, from a few different issue eras. None of them have a warped body like this, so I don't think cramming it in the box caused the problem. It could be the way it came out of the mold. I had an AMT '65 Bonneville with a warped body, but it straightened out when I did the final assembly. Your more severely warped body might not work with that method, but the other one may.
  23. I love the Cordobas, even the ones based on the Mirada! This is the '76 I owned for about 6 years around the turn of the century: 360 V-8. Ran great, and got decent gas mileage for its size. Mine had this interior: And, here is the Lindberg Cordoba I found in a hobby shop in Tecumseh, Michigan: I would definitely like to have one of these transkits! Would a chassis from the Dukes of Hazzard, or Joker Goon car kit work under this Cordoba?
  24. It's hard to beat Humphrey Bogart for great quotes!
