  1. Give that man a shiny button!! That movie is on the tube, right now! LOL
  2. "Suppose you sing that song, again....slowly." What movie is that one from?
  3. My thoughts, exactly!! Makes it look like a street sleeper!! Beat the socks off those flashy, striped up jobs! HAHAHA Very well done, sir!!
  4. I'm wondering the same thing! They look darned near perfect on there! Super job on this one!
  5. "my father always told me never hit another person in anger unless you were absolutely sure you could get away with it."
  6. Here's one of my faves from Stripes......"You can't go.......all the plants are gonna die!"
  7. Actually, it was during filming of Wagons East. While filming the Western parody Wagons East!, Candy died of a presumed heart attack in Durango, Mexico, on March 4, 1994, aged 43. His final two films, Wagons East! and Canadian Bacon, are dedicated to his memory. The above is taken from this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Candy
  8. That's one of my favorite lines from that movie!
  9. I have the hood in orange, but it has a tire burn on the top side. Let me know if you're still interested.
  10. "You went a lot haywire, if you ask me!!!" Where is this one from?
  11. Gotta love a good 'Bee!! This one is gorgeous!! Great color, and I like the bench seat!
  12. When I was 11 or so, I ended up with a Revell '57 BelAir kit. I had only been gluing stuff together for 3 years, so the multiple features boggled my mind! At some point, it turned into a guided missile, as it went flying down the hallway from the dining table, up against my sister's bedroom door! I gathered up the pieces, crammed them in the box, and never finished it. It's the only time I ever tossed one. I have never built a '57 Chevy to this day, and I have several in the stash, both AMT and Revell. I have had some rough times with those multi-piece body kits from several of the companies, even Palmer!
  13. I don't think he would work on my car, anymore, either!!
  14. I bought a new '74 Olds Omega S that 'sidetracked' from day one. I took it in to the dealership, and they fixed it. It had something to do with a rear leaf spring attachment to the rear axle housing. That's what the service manager told me. He said they tried to fix 'em before they were sold, but I got mine before they got to it. I enjoyed my Omega. It had a 350 Olds engine, and automatic trans. It ran fairly decent for a '74 year model compact car. I kept it for a year and a half, and went back to MOPARS. Been in Pentastars ever since.
  15. Very cool! They look great together, too!
  16. I'll throw in......Keith Buckner is my name. Pipefitting was my game. I went to work in Memphis back in '79, at the Delta Oil Refinery. My crew foreman could not remember my first name...he kept calling me Kyle, Kevin, Kenny, anything with a "K" except Keith! I kept correcting him, so he finally just took my last name and came up with "BUCKY". All his friends had nicknames, and he said those were easier to remember. I've been called BUCKY ever since then.
  17. I was WAAAAAAAAAAY off!! I was looking at Jensens!
  18. Not getting anything here, either.
  19. I've been wondering when the day might come that we get an actual new tooling from them.
  20. Looks like a PT Cruiser on steroids!!
  21. My Dad bought a brand new '73 Dodge D-100 and it had the dog dish caps, white wheels, and whitewall tires.
  22. Sorry, Casey....better luck next time, bro! LOL I'm kinda surprised the kit had a stock stripe of any color in the box!!
  23. Well....I think I know what it ain't!! HAHA (I'm pretty good at that! Figuring out what it is gets me!)
