    Actually i applied BMF on the body scripts then primer,then a Q tip dipped in thinner,then lightly go over the scripts to remove the primer,then color coats and repeat with a Q tip dipped in thinner.Then i clearcoated over the whole body,hope this makes sense.

    Finished last weekend for a buildoff on a Facebook group that ended oct 1,some fit issues at the end that weren't there when i was test fitting.Paint is Tamiya white and the interior is Tamiya wood deck tan,i grabbed the soft top /hardtop from a junked 72'vette convertible.

    Thanks for the comments everyone?so i've assembled most of the body before final assembly: The buildoff ended yesterday and the build was done,i had to take indoor pics but hopefully be able to take outdoor pics tomorrow.

    Otaki did this years ago it's simplified,but you could kitbash it with the 70'T/A for a decent build

    Nice work!,but your build definately needs some lowering,i remember Scale auto did a feature on the 1:25 and 1:12 2010 GT500 kits and showed how to lower them,its what i did on my build.

    Pretty sure Keith Marks offers a sheet as well.it's not as extensive as Ray's Kit Decals though.

    Pretty sure it's in the multi piece body 60'corvette,Revell re-released a few years ago.

    If you change your mind on the rims,Revells 70'Roadrunner came with those wheels and hubcaps,but they are 1/24 scale.

    How did you open the grill?a dremel or using various sandpaper grits?.
