  1. Looking good Mr Mike. And for those who want to know about Jeeps, a quick history is here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_CJ Robert
  2. At least he's working on something REAL....not sitting in some foul smelling room building PLASTIC .......
  3. This is way cool!! If I may, I'd like to remark on something that to me just doesn't look right. The rear fender arc looks at odds with the {wheel}? To me it needs the same arc. Just a thought. Robert
  4. Thanks Mark. I've been following your build, I noticed you changed front wheels, did that move them out? Robert
  5. Casey, many thanks for this info. Leo, thanks, I remember hearing that once. Will make the needed adjustments Robert
  6. I've been working on this for what seems like forever and never noticed that the cab hinge arms are missing!! Bought second hand.. So can anyone help me with some basic measurements for these arms? How tall, at what angle are they? Maybe a good picture? I will have to scratch them but the measurements will make it easier. Thanks Robert
  7. Nice start.
  8. But you know, it's been around for quite awhile. Yep, GUILTY of this!! In 74 I bought a 65 Cutlass, couldn't afford air shocks for the wide tires, so I jacked it up, got the shock extend as far as they would go and put muffler clamps on them, talk about bouncing but it was JACKED UP...
  9. Around here, NO fart-cans!! Just diesels with trash cans hanging under the rear or sewer pipes up thru the bed!!!! Makes my old Ford with the headers dropped sorta unique Robert
  10. Kool........................ But whats that in the background??? Lets see it. Robert
  11. Man this is looking good...almost cut mine down , but changed my mind. Maybe the next one. So, I'll be following along as you do yours. Might get some ideals.... Hope you don't mind the pic. Robert
  12. The body in my kit is just like yours. I think I read that they are all this way? Robert
  13. As a finished color, it's something like this: 47 in blues, 34 in reds, 12 in silver, and a bunch of weird colors that don't really fit in a color class. And 6 in rust if that counts!! Robert
  14. I've been watching this since the start. Completely awesome!!! I really like that you don't need sunglasses to view...Will there be any graphics applied? Robert
  15. "right before I left, I put a coat of wax on to get some protection on the finish." Just curious protection from what? Robert
  16. How about it Snake, can you redo the pics on here. Thanks Robert
  17. Don't have any info on the fifties. And like most others, I've always thought the larger trucks were med. duty also, but according to Ford only the 500, 550, 600 were med. duty. Guess its time to do some deep searching .
  18. Great video. It answers a nagging question I've had for along time. Were all drag slicks in the fifties pie crust style..Answer: NO..... Robert
  19. I haven't bought a kit in almost 10 years!! I get my supplies at the local shop. In my case its Free Time Hobbies in Blue Ridge, an hour away but a nice drive. Robert
  20. Well, I saw a couple then it went to the 100% meter sign. Thanks Robert
  21. Hey Snake, anyway you could re-up the pics to this? Thanks Robert
