  1. Thanks David! I just bought a '60 Polara 4 dr ht. Nice unrestored car with low miles. Solid Black. Will post pics when it arrives.
  2. Thanks all! I appreciate the kind words.
  3. Thanks! Resin copied the scripts from a 78 Monaco promo
  4. Here's a 75 Monaco sedan. Started with a Green Light cop car. Added vinyl top, wheel covers, and redid the interior to a split bench front seat. Just a barge of a car!
  5. That's the one I wanted to see!! Fantastic Jean- Philippe!
  6. The quarter windows are flat clear sheet stock. Yes compete interior, rear bumper, taillights. Uses kit windshield. The 59 Chevy wagons are currently available. There is one listed on the auction site at the moment.
  7. Thanks for your interest. Yes, uses the 66 Galaxie as a donor kit to complete.
  8. Wow that is an interior to be proud of! The steering wheel is amazing.
  9. Made from a JoHan Coupe de Ville promo.
  10. Built from one of my trans kits. Special decals were created. I am hoping to be able to start selling these May- June. All sales will be on the auction site. Would like to be able to sell mail order, but am afraid I would not be able to keep up with demand.
  11. If anyone has one of the Modelhaus Merc wagons, I had a better woodgrain decal set made for it. The ones supplied with the kit are vinyl, too much gloss, and tend to lift and bubble. Had new ones made in more of a satin finish peel and stick paper. Much more user friendly. The model pictured has the old vinyl decals, look close and you will see that the decal has a less than perfect finish. I have them available. PM me if interested.
  12. Thanks for your kind remarks.
  13. John it's funny you mention the Franklin Mint 59 hood. I had made a mold of one many years ago in anticipation of doing this project. Was at the warehouse yesterday and found it! It's still usable. Going to do my best to offer a correct, removable hood.
  14. Thank you all for the kind remarks. To answer the question about the wheels, I just brush painted them to match the upper body. Here are a few more pics of the interior and engine. This was a nice, easy build. The hardest part was finding photos of unmodified trucks to get the details correct.
  15. Just built out of the box.
  16. Thanks for the compliments everyone!
  17. This was built off the Modelhaus kit.
  18. Thanks for all the positive response. Didn't think any one would catch the correct convertible windshield. You guys are sharp!!!
  19. Thank you kind peoples!!
  20. Thanks all, and yes Mike, the AMT box art showed a long bed with a side molding. What was in the box was a strippo short bed. I was slightly disappointed lol. Yes I prefer the long box trucks as well.
  21. Thanks for the response, So Bill, John, Jean- Philippe, and anyone else that would like to respond.... Would you rather have an accurate sealed hood or an inaccurate hood that opens?
  22. Pretty much outta the box. Added the side moldings, improved tires.
  23. This was made using a Modelhaus 57 Desoto Fireflite Ht. to start with. The wheel covers are from a Danbury mint 56 Adventurer.
  24. If this kit is a success I will consider doing a six window sedan as well as an all new Fleetwood of the same caliber.
  25. John I like your 60!
