  5. Wow!!! Awesome job. I was going to build Lightning but based on a Viper coupe. I hope you build a few more i'll keep watching.
  6. I have an F14 and an F105, both 1:48 to kitbash for the M.A.S.K. vehicles. Thunderhawk's body goes into the purple pond tomorrow.
  7. Yep!
  8. Here is what I am basing the Thunderhawk's jet drive on, the turbine powered Jaguar C-X75 concept car. In the diagram just change exhaust to thrust! The engines
  9. Disassembly went pretty smooth, got rid of those ugly ground effects. Now I have to fabricate the window frames before I cut the doors open.
  10. This is the start of a large project that should be a fun build for me. I plan to make detailed versions of the most popular MASK toys. All the cars will be displayed in attack mode. I'm starting with the Thunderhawk Camaro. http://youtu.be/2EV1mzyGNOc http://youtu.be/2iCYNVult9g

  12. Keep up the good work. I'll be watching this one. Last July I finished my full size Bandit T/A.
  13. The Little Mule is getting a fresh start. The blue Bronco was missing just about everything. I found a complete basket case Bronco at the show last Sunday. This one even has the wheel flares.
  14. Take "Purple Power" cleaner degreaser you get at the auto parts store in gallon size. Pour it into a tupperware tub deep enough to submerge the body. That stuff will lift the paint without warping the plastic. Leave the car in there for a day or so. Once the paint bubbles up you should be able to just wipe it off. Then wash the body off with soapy water, wipe off, let dry, then you should be back to bare plastic.
  15. Hey Mike let that Charger spend the night in the purple pond, then washoff and start over on the primer and paint.
  16. that's a good start, keep it up.
  17. I am not pleased with the paint, i am out of practice. It will get redone before the November show.
  18. Looks good so far. I thought you were going to use both bodies to make a Star Wars cloud speeder.
