  1. Thanks guys! Hopefully I can get to finishing up the rear end soon. I still haven't decided what exactly to do with the exhaust. Maybe threogh the rear valance or even side exit after the rear wheels, any suggestions, photoshops welcomed. For the front I am thinking about going with a bar grille but am wondering what a thick grille like a Ford Fusion would look like.
  2. I like the single tail lights better, and the square exhaust tips. The square tips hepl give the car that "concept car" look you are going for.
  3. WOA! I wasn't expecting THAT! Really cool idea going with the mid engine. Could we see a profile shot? Those scoops use up a lot of real estate on the side of that car. I did forget to ask: Now that the Cordvette is mid engine, Are the fender vents functional or just a style feature?
  4. Wow that looks good! I'll be watching this one.
  5. lookin good so far!
  6. I like this one! the Barely 'Cuda is really cool too. I love roof grafts and crazy ammounts of bodywork. I'm lookin forward to seeing more on this one. If you haven't seen it yet, i"m doing a 49 Merc with 67 Impala roof and rear fenders among other things.
  7. Check this out! Custom 49-51 Merc chassis built by Roseville Customs I want to modify the Chezoom frame i have for this car to incorprate the details of this frame.
  8. Now THAT's a cool roof graft! It gives that Monkeemobile a whole new tough look. I'll be watching this one. 2 things: 1: Have you considered closing off the hole in the hood? (leaving the huge peak down the center) 2: I went with your idea on my Merc, check it out.
  9. Well, thanks to an idea from a fellow modeler with a good eye the Merc went in for some major plastic surgery tonight!!!
  10. NICE! I especially like the Cougar.
  11. This is my kind of customizing! I love building concept cars too. You have a great design, I'll be watching this one. and thank you for not replicating that GTO/Ausralian based design. The only thing worse than that was the Bel-Air concept, cough cough T-Bird ripoff cough cough.
  12. That's awesome! That was a PRETTY truck, do you know if he still has it?
  13. Last year my fiance, her brother and myself went to Midwest 4x4 while we were visiting her brother in St.Louis. Of course BIGFOOT 5 was on display, but so was FASTTRAX, and BIGFOOT 1 was in the parking lot! Plus, when I was buying my souviners Jim Cramer came out from the shop and I got to talk to him for a minute.
  14. Lookin great! Most people wouldn't notice the pinstripe detail on the frame. Old monster trucks were real showpieces.
  15. Excellent idea! I like how you reshaped the side windows also, giving them that 57 Chevy shape. I'll be looking forward to seeing this one progress.
  16. I think that if the Prowler came with a 5.7 HEMI instead of a MITSUBISHI V-6 they would have been so much cooler. That fact could also keep it from being taken seriously as a collectible later on. If it looks like a hot rod it should also SOUND like a hot rod! The PT Cruiser should have been a 2 door with suicide doors (that suggestion came from my Mom who owned a PT Cruiser).
  17. Chopping and sectioning is way harder than what I have going on here. Would you believe the body kit came off an S-10? The grille is from a newer S-10. You should check out my Merc (49 Merc extreme custom)
  18. No new progress yet I was just happy to get to my club meeting and got a lot of nice comments.
