  1. Outstanding as usual Peter! Can you give us some hints on the weathering for that "just raced" look? A tutorial would be great. I would like to do that to a race car. Thanks,
  2. 4 days and looks so good? HA! Just polishing my current project has taken about 2 weeks!!
  3. wow that's cool! Very nice conversion!
  4. What? No Faux Fabrix on the wheels? Just kidding. Great enhancement to the wheels! Thanks,
  5. Cool! Looking forward to see it done!
  6. Ken!! Glad to see you back! You have a great taste on wheels  I have a set of those exact same wheels. I plan on using them in the F430. Thanks,
  7. ...My elbow hurts Not the best light conditions but you get the idea. I hate orange peel There is so much still pending on this project I think it will be at least a few more weeks before it can be finished. As usual, your comments are appreciated. Thanks,
  8. That came out nice! I'm waiting for Revell to release their version...
  9. Cool! One of the most beautiful cars ever made!
  10. AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! That reminds me of old vinyl records with the same fate.... hmmm, that could be the right torture for my AMT Camaro Concept.....

Beautiful! I now have their distinctive sound playing in my head
  12. As simple as it sounds, I think that's one of the keys I was missing.... Your explanation is very clear. Suit me up! I'm going in!!! Thanks,
  13. Mark, As a long term admirer of your work, I always look forward to your updates, even if I don't respond to all of them. But this one is special and I have to ask: Decals are my nemesis in this wonderful hobby. Yet I don't loose hope of one day having them work for me. I want to cover the rearview mirror or a modern race car in carbon fiber. I have the Scale Motorsports decals. I see you not only clearcoated the CF decals, but you also mention sanding it where strips meet. Can you elaborate on that? I think that's exactly what I need to do with the mirrors. Thanks,
  14. WOW! I can only imagine the time and effort spent! Thanks!
  15. Yup! One of my favorite builds from you..... and a grail for me
  16. Barbo, I'll make sure the next BBQ does not conflicts with another show so you can come..... I set the date thinking NNL was the week before Thanks,
  17. Hi! Anyone remember seeing this? The guy was kind enough to put it under my name! So I kind of made my first NNL east Picture from Gary Kulchock album. Thanks,
  18. Cool! That looks very nice! Something you don't see very frequently.....
  19. Mark, Put down the Faux Fabrix, slowly walk away, nobody gets hurt.....
  20. It is a 1964 Mecom Hussein MK1. No relationship to Saddam as far as I know AJ Foyt drove it in 1964
  21. Beautiful! That is actually my Ferrari racing grail kit. (Funny my grails are divided in categories) IMO that is one of the most beautiful race cars ever built. I would love to do the Ecurie Belge yellow car. Thanks,
  22. Hello, Yes, I know there are plenty of fire extinguishers in the aftermarket and many kits. But my "overcomplicaditis" made me make my own. Machined aluminum body and top, brass nozzle, aluminum foil handle. An aluminum strip, a parts box decal, some superglue and VIOLA!!!!! About half an inch tall. This is supposed to go between the seats of the GT3 but I like it so much I'm having second thoughts What do you think? Thanks,
  23. Ayala: I had a big "Churrasco" steak reseved to send to you but Simon aka "the vaccum cleaner" got to it first We are already planning the next one
  24. Question on the '67 Corvette coupe reissue: From the box art pic (Quite ugly box art with a C6 instrument cluster as background BTW) Will it have minilite wheels? I see a Grand Sport style custom hood and sidepipes as well. Was there a test build sample? Thanks,
  25. Bill, First of all, Not only I'd be honored to have you in my house: I'd get mad if you don't The Sting Ray racer is a loooong term project. Wilmer has been working on it for years. A bit more tweaking is needed, and that is just the body. He hasn't even considered the rest yet. So I guess that between that and my SR-2, we can retire waiting Thanks,
