What about Nissan Hardbody pickups?
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to chryslerjunkandstuff's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Thanks for posting this, I owned an incredibly rusted out one of these things for a while that I used as a yard truck for haulin brush and plowin snow on my farm.. Until it got so bad that if you opened the doors on both sides simultaneously the thing tried to fold in on itself lol Never knew there was a kit version, gonna try an track one down now.. -

This would be swell.. I had bought the 1/20 at one point, thinking I could get over the difference in scale just to have THE truck! I couldn't.. BUT, that kit is really nicely detailed, I think it'd be a huge seller for Round2 if they brought it out in 1/25.. -

Yo, So, in the early 2000s, and until around 2016-ish, a 2WD 1992 Nissan D-21 King Cab pickup served as my ready-steady dd, until it rusted into oblivion.. It was pretty much the same as the one in this pic, though mine was much darker green, and retained it's factory pinstripes and lettering, the one in this pic has clearly been repainted, and they didn't exactly get the color right : I was quite fond of the tough as nails, ugly little ba$tard, and I want to do a build of it.. So, the answer is YES, I am well aware of the 1/20 scale kit, and it is indeed nice and detailed, BUT I don't do 1/20 scale.. 1/24 or 1/25 so that it matches all my other stuff in terms of scale.. Do any of you know of a 1/24 kit in styrene, likely from a Japanese company, perhaps a resin kit, or a diecast? I appreciate any insight, thanks!

AMT 1961 Ford Galaxie hardtop, any news?
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to PintoKING's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Yeah man, a '61 Starliner would be killer! I hoped I would be seeing news about that very thing as an upcoming release when I clicked this thread.. I have a pair of the '60 Starliners, I love em, and am plannin on buildin another one sometime.. But if a '61 were to potentially come along at some point, I'd be grabbing up two of em for sure.. The '61 is the best lookin of the two years.. -
A question for Mr. Goldman - Re Round 2
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to iwantmodels's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
This is an even better idea than just fixing up the '58.. Seriously, I'd buy a case of '57 Furys! -
At Chrysler Corporation, especially in those days, the customer was ALWAYS right, and the attitude of "Anything Goes" was standard operating procedure, provided the customer had the coin that is.. So naturally, there were many '57 Cs that left the factory in colors other than the standard 5.. So as not to derail this W.I.P. thread too much, I won't give the precise breakdown by color here, but I'll say that '57 Cs were built in a total of 20 colors, including the standard 5, AND 1 that was custom built in two-tone paint.. Anyway, this build is lookin good so far, nice paint job! And this IS a great kit, one of AMTs best, and my #1 favorite kit of them all.. Biggest inaccuracy in the kit is the smooth valve covers.. They should say "Chrysler Fire Power".. These can be found in the Moebius '55 and '56 kits, if one were so inclined..

Do all of the suggested stuff to the '58 Plymouth please! Everybody and their brother has a '58 Plymouth kit, probably several.. One with the trim issues corrected AND decals with seat inserts wouldn't be a hard sell at all, in my opinion.. I'd buy AT LEAST a case of em, and probably more! Also, your '65 and '68 GTOs, '68 Coronet, newest release of the '70 Super Bee, and THE BLACK BEAUTY, are EXCELLENT and ON-POINT! THANK YOU! I can't wait to get my '71 Demon, '60 and, '63 Ford pickups! -
Nicely done man, nicely done! What a way cool car too.. I haven't ever seen one with a vinyl top like that.. Was yours the ONLY one?

This dude, man, always coming up with the COOLEST and most unique builds out there! I love it, nicely done!

Never thought I'd see a Preston Tucker concept car done in 1/24 scale! It's is excellent, nicely done dude! Looks just like Tuckers original concept drawings..

Nice build, really cool car! When I saw The Black Knight, my first thoughts weren't of Batman or legendary German armored knights, but rather the truly ancient and anomalous Black Knight satellite orbiting this planet.. I can't be the only one..

54 Pontiac Bonneville Special.
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to customsrus's topic in WIP: Model Cars
This is hands down one of the coolest WIP threads on the site, nice job! I've always loved this, and every other 1950s Dream Car ever made.. I'd be down to acquire a resin copy of the stock version, should a batch of em become available some day.. -
Yeah, I recently acquired a couple of Fiero kits, and I want to build one of em with one of these engine swaps, 3800 s/c or 4.6 Northstar.. Because it'll be rad.. An LSA is indeed not a Northstar.. Seller looks to have a decent couple of offerings, wish the '60 Saratoga wasn't a chop-top.. That Series 1 with the 4.0 Aurora Northstar seems to be pretty decently detailed, can anyone confirm? Looks to perhaps be the only game in town in any case.. What about those 80s Monogram Indy Car kits? Some of those were Buick V6 powered weren't they? Are those kit engines any good? One more question, wasn't there a kit of an early 2000s Cadillac LMP race car? Those were Northstar powered..
