  5. The one I bought, is perfect match it's in the short cans for automotive use, been using it for a few years now, Never seen this before. I would guess its laquer, it dries fast!. I prefer the plasticote but dont like the long drive, '16 miles" it takes to get the stuff.
  6. I will look at the tutorial. I used Detailer Black wash to darken the panel lines on my Oldsmobile. I like the way Marcos did his becuase, it looked liked the procedure used actually bled through the paint, like the way Ink does, so it gets toned down while still being visable after its painted. With the Detailer wash. The Panel lines were covered up by the primer some.
  7. I buy that primer all the time.It has never looked like this.
  8. I sprayed some Dulicolor "scratch filler primer" on a body earlier tonight, when it dried it was Glossy grey, not flat. Has anyone else had this happen? This was a new can that I just bought at Autozone, Duplicolor may have changed the formula.
  9. In the New issue of MCM Marcos Cruz showed the panel lines darkened. Can anyone tell how this is done?

  13. I have built one, its an excellent kit with a very nice engine, and transmission that responds well to extra detailing if desired. Well fitting parts with poseable steering, and a nice set of American wheels.

  16. Anne it's not too bad, could possibly be a little cleaner. I use a medium, or stiff bristled toothbrush, and warm water. If it does'nt come off with that, it probably wont be coming off at all.

  18. I used it once and did have a little bit of trouble ended repainting the body twice dirt and moisture seem to really magnify
