  1. This can be found Under Glass
  2. For the power plant, I used the spare HEMI that came in the '68 Charger kit. As you can see, it fits nicely in the spacious engine bay. This finishes out the weekend by wrapping up two from 1956. You can find the build thread on the work bench Thanks for looking.
  3. Just finished this '56 Bel Air. This is the first time I've ever opened the doors and trunk on anything. I didn't know what to expect, but I learned a lot. The exterior color is Rustoleum purple and the finish is Future floor wax. The wheels are from the Testors Shezoom car.
  4. What a great build! Incredible paint and finish. Engine bay is real nice.

  8. I dig it! Nice paint. Great detail
  9. Thanks everyone. This truck has been moved to Under Glass
  10. The Wally World flat white on the outside and duplicolor plymouth red on the inside. After I sprayed the body about 3 times, I rubbed it down with a fresh bounce sheet. I know this sounds crazy but it just evens everything out and leaves a nice satin sheen. For the exhaust, I used paper clips for the hangers and the box kit's tips. I had to heat and bend the original pipes to make the connection from the headers. The build thread can be found on the workbench Thanks for looking
  11. This truck was a redo I built back in the 90's. The first was rather boring in lavender and was built box stock with all the 90's flair including a billet steering wheel. I got these wheels from a 1/24 scale R/C Cuda. They are a little oversized but I think this looks really cool. I had to omit the inner fender wells and tub out the rear. I used a prescription medication bottle cut in half. I had to scratch build the exhaust and the drive shaft. I used tubed aluminum make this happen.
  12. That is awesome!
  13. This may be one of my fastest builds. I've gotten a bunch done in the past few days. Interior getting done. Working on the dash now. Engine bay real close. Engine is painted and will be wired this time. I'm not feeling the wheels so I'll make these plan B I will be looking for something better this afternoon. Greg, the pen I bought is DecoColor Premium. I found it in the arts and crafts aisle. These are the parts I painted with it. Not quite chrome but way shinier than silver testors paint. Closer to aluminum. Stay tuned...
  14. Great job on the wheels! Can't wait to see more
  15. Very nice. I may have to pick one up

    Thanks everyone!
  17. Thanks for the tips Wayne! Thanks to everyone else too. Got some painting done today. I should be able for some assembly tomorrow. You can see the 2 holes I poked in the firewall - getting ready for some heater hoses. If you haven't gotten one of those chrome paint pens from wally world, do yourself a favor and get one asap! The valve covers, fan, air filter cans and headers above were all painted with one. Best 3 bucks I've ever spent! Stay tuned...
  18. Nice collection! Welcome. Cant wait to see more
  19. You are off to a great start! Cant wait to see more
  20. Just entered the work bench... Duplicolor Silver on the outside, Duplicolor Plymouth red on the inside. Testors Chezoom wheels, unless something better comes along. Stay Tuned...
