  1. Super clean build. Love it
  2. I did the same thing not that long ago. Yours held up nicely over the years. Go go go
  3. March right out to a local Hobby Shop and get yourself a new model kit
  4. Pretty cool
  5. This is my 1st kit review here. I bought this kit at a club meeting with cash so no receipt. Upon opening the box I immediately noticed the warped body. What a downer. Then after further inspection I found a sink hole in the passenger side front fender. I confronted the manufacture and they said they would replace the body but wanted proof of purchase. without a reciept I was forced to pay s/h. I figured I would make the best of it and build what I had. The instructions looked like they were from 1964. If AMT is going to reissue a kit they should update their instructions. Even after these struggles, I'm actually pretty happy with my overall result.
  6. Sharp looking Challenger! Great color
  7. Nice Edsel!
  8. I came across this one the other day out in the garage. 1960 Impala 1/24 scale by Jada. No engine because the hood like the trunk is not operable. I was thinking about blowing her apart to add carpet and maybe a wheel swap and also make her sit flat.
  9. Thanks Bill. Shes 1/24
  10. Fantastic color!
  11. Sweet Hudson
  12. Thanks Andy. The problems were mostly paint. I'm a new airbrusher and was trying out different mediums. The body was badly warped straight out of the box. I complained to the manufacture and they were willing to replace it but they wanted my receipt else I would have to pay shipping and handling. I bought it new at a club meeting so no reciept. I worked with what I had.
  13. Great looking Mopar
  14. Haha, no she sits flat. My phone was angled
  15. Shes finally done and Under glass! Thanks for playing along
  16. Finally this one is off the bench! I'm rather pleased with this one considering all the trouble I had with her. The paint is my own brew of metallic ruby and a little gloss black both craft acrylics. Mixed at 2:1 with IPA shot at 20psi. I foiled all the emblems before I painted the car then wiped the paint away with alcohol. The clear coat is Duplicolor automotive clear - 3 coats. I blew the interior bucket apart so i could detail the door cards. The simulated wood trim is contact paper with a wood grain pattern i picked up at the dollar store. I had to add articulating front wheels. It's a pet peeve of mine. The wheels and tires are Pegasus. The disc brakes are flat washers and the calipers are scrap styrene. Thanks for looking
