SPOTTED! Experimental 58 Plymouth Cuda concept car...

That is very cool! Thanks for including the additional build pix -
Tan colored duct tape. It's a bit on the shiny side but it folds in rather well. I used the same on my 65 GP

Finally done. You can see her here. Thanks for playing along

You are absolutely right Rusty. I am definitely feeling it.

I picked this one up at Hobby Lobby on the cheap. My original plan was to build this with opening doors. I cut off the doors and it began to look really cool. Then the passenger side rocker broke then the passenger side a pillar broke. Then began issues with the paint. I had a 2 tone paint job. Tan on the top and this red on the bottom. Everything looked great until the red began to crack up over the passenger side rear quarter. Frustrated, I put it on the shelf...for 3 years. I then stripped the paint and ditched the 2 tone idea. I layed a decent base coat then came the clear. Along comes orange peel. UGH!!! I just wanted it done already. I struggled and did the best I could with the rest. Thanks for looking.

Great looking Ford

You kinda get the idea of where I'm going with this one. Paint is done. Please excuse the mess while I lay in the headliner. Stay tuned...

It wasn't as bad as you would think. It is very sticky though. I did it in 3 passes 1st pass down the center then the sides leaving a small overlap on each side. Note, no WILL need a sharp blade.

A little more progress... And of course I broke the hide away light assembly completely off and managed to drill completely through it. But now I'm back on track. Stay tuned...

Getting closer to the finish line with this one. I'll be glad when it's off the bench. She's giving me a mess of problems. I should have never cut off the doors. I totally forgot about the headliner so I picked up a roll of tan duct tape at the hobby shop last night. I'm pleased with it. Stay tuned...

Man, that's tough looking. Nice job

Nice build. This kit got me back in the hobby about 4 years ago. It was 7 dollars at Ollies. The only problem I had with the build was the wheels and tires that came with it.

Great job on the Olds. A true sleeper

Great job on the GTO. Love the color and the attention to the engine details

I've decided to build 2 at the same time. Why? Why not! Besides the colors, there will be subtle differences between them. Stay tuned...
