Thanks Gene. I've been bouncing between 2 cars this week. Today I managed to run in the fuel line and do a little with the firewall. This kit didn't come with a master cylinder so I pulled one from the parts bin. stay tuned...

After all the trouble with broke, missing and warped parts I'm finally able to call this one done. Although I am still missing a front turn signal lens, she will be on my display shelf until one turns up. This was a fun little project to get me back into the hobby after a 3 year hiatus. Thanks for looking!

Thanks Gene, I'll try not to disappoint... I disassembled the engine so I could paint the block Then I figured go ahead and wire it too. Then got a splash of color on the body and decorated some of the guts. Here I used the molotow chrome pen, some home made bmf, fake veneer shelf liner, printed off some guages from an image search of 68 Firebird guages, sharpie detailing on the radio and some white, black and red paint I've never gone this crazy on a dash before Stay Tuned

My buddy stopped by the other day and dropped of a buttload of built cars and trucks. SCORE! This Firebird caught my eye primarily because it wasn't loaded down with glue. After stripping her down I only found one problem. Deviated septum. ;D Stay tuned...

After 2 1/2 years I'm finally back on this one. You're right Day 2, I got lazy with the fuel plumbing. Instead of researching, I just thought I'd wing it. I did my best to fix that. Thanks! A while back I bought a roll of shelf paper at the dollar store but wasn't sure if the grain would be too big. Whatcha think? I got some primer on the body and I painted up the grille. Stay tuned...

Thanks Greg. That's a fair answer. When I bought it, I planned on putting it together but the longer I held onto it, the more I thought not to break the seal. I'll pick up the reissue. As a kid I had the 240Z with the red white and blue decals and I destroyed it. I want to get that back too

I picked this up about 2 years ago at a show. It's from 1973 and still sealed in it's original package. Do I build it or store it away?
