    Porsche 928

Here we have the 928 of the 3 pack of Porsche's offered back in 1988. I got this kit of 3 for close to nothing. This one was started and painted -not very well I must say. I kept this one built pretty much box stock with the exception of the wheels. They came from my parts box. The ones offered in the kit were less than desirable. I decided not to paint the body because the plastic was very nice. Thanks for looking
  4. No paint here. Just rubbed the plastic out with tooth paste. I can't believe the outcome. Getting the interior done Brightening up the condenser. Stay tuned...
  5. Very cool. go man go!
  6. Thanks Slusher
  7. Here we are with the 3rd of the 3 Porsches. Like the other 2, the plastic is so nice, I'm not gonna paint it. Here she is after a tooth paste polish. Stay Tuned...
  8. Thanks everyone. This was a fun little build. The only thing left is a little chrome touch up then its in the books. This was an open box Revell kit with a 911 Carrera and a 928. Both rear quarters were warped and I did my best with a candle to bring them back into position. The only thing that was missing was a front turn signal light. I'll be keeping an eye out for one. The next time you see this it will be in the Finished build section. Thanks for playing along.
  9. Thanks Stitch! Moving on, like the 911, I decided not to paint the body. All I did was rub out the body with tooth paste. I couldn't believe the results. stay tuned...
  10. I dig it! Great body work!
  11. Thanks Pappy!
  12. Million dollar paint job!
  13. I built this one pretty much box stock. I did not paint the body. It was molded in yellow. I thought the finish was nice enough so I let it be. I painted the black accents on the deck lid and headliner with a fresh Sharpie. I picked this up as a set of 3 from the Revell release in 1988. It came with the 928 molded in brown and a 914 molded in red. Everything for this piece was in the box except the decals and front glass. Thanks for looking.
  14. Unfortunately the axle broke away so I replaced it with piano wire. While I was back there I replaced the shocks too. And a few shots from the top side. Stay Tuned...
