  1. These lines carry the headlight and fog light wiring - pretty sure

Rattlecan : humbled back to eng bay - the shielded lines that run from the bulkhead left and right forward are painted metal wires that are model railroad accesories - they are tied to the panels with wire on the right side - leaving room for the bonnett brace - the left side wire runs thru metal clips made from pins and soldered nickel silver …

  4. Shielded oil lines in the eng bay - running in and out of the oil radiator - the line is aluminum .050 wire - shielding is wound with .0075 steel wire - w RB Motion fittings …. Nice and flexible …
  5. Working this week on some shielded lines …. The trunk has one for the light wires- these run to the tail lights and the trunk supplemental lights - squeezed 5 .0075 wires through the shielding - wanted 6 - # 6 wouldn’t fit - the shielding is .0085 steel wire wrapped around and around and around a length of .022 brass tube … scalemaster showed us all how to do this on his L O L A Lola ….

  9. The screen will be a stamping - using this stamp / die thingy that was turned on the Sherline …
  10. Here’s the screen i’ve chosen - Acu-stion made some nice accesories - but they haven’t been active in years - this screen was used because it’s relief etched on one side - with a weave effect -
  11. Found some photo-etched screen that is fine - so the headlights will still be visible - put i got to make a part to stamp/shape the screen
  12. Found a length of brass tube that is the correct diameter - the bezel that seats the screen has to fit tightly around the headlight shell - cut 2 rings and soldered them to .010 brass sheet to make the parts …
  13. Gracias .0010 was restored w headlight screens - were probably used in the Spa race …
  14. The kit had a white metal racing mirror - but it was a little small - so i made this one with a pin squeezed into a short length of alu tube - glued into the plastic mirror back plate - ill use a polished peice of nickel silver for the mirror …
  15. .010 cl plastic slips into the frames …. Make the frame post handles and they’re done …
