    The hinge has a brass pin that im inserting into a hole drilled into a recess in the thick resin casting - the fit is challenging but the brass hinge is thin and flexes - allowing me to find a reasonable fit for the door - its a process …

    Last wheel assembly - broke tips of four xacto blades parting the photoetch spoke rings - but i got the hang of these wheels - with the added wire inserts - each wheel had 15 parts - will need a wheel for the trunk - probably use a Deeks wheel with a simpler 2 ring assembly -

    This change in assembly results in a better looking wheel - 2 more to make and assemble - 3D printed Borranis might look a little better - but i’m getting a kick out of conquering the These unique wheels - shout out to Jeff Edmonson - he was a frequent contributor to Quarterman’s MRRN mags - and owned up to drawing the complex photo-etch parts for this kit …

    You’re illustration of the fr brake system is wonderful - but don’t be too effusive with praise to Bentley - the French used this system too - i have a facsimile of it on my Delage 2LCV build - i doubt that it worked well when the car was asked to slow in a bumpy turn - or worked at all - brake fluid was the answer - in just a few short years … you’re killing this thing - as we say …
