For me no problem with the directions....for those that do snappers..they should not get this kit....color call out??? NOPE... I am building a full on kickass lowrider , shaved, slammed and painted Tangelo Pearl....I will guess at the colors....

Will Are you spraying TS13 or airbrushing the acrylic? 24 hours is usually enough time for them to dry....but time will always help If you are using the acrylic Tamiya look into Future...brushed on (yes!!!) a couple of coats will give you a deep gloss w/o polishing here is a future link.....http://www.swannysmodels.com/TheCompleteFuture.html

First off this is a 1/25 th scale kit molded in grey, with clear, red, and chrome trees, black rubber tires, decals,and metal embossed side trim. Everything is in its own bag...the whitewalls are in one grey bag and the red taillights in the other. This is a level 3.5 kit with lots of small finely molded parts with little or no flash. The directions might be the weak link in this kit....but it is a 3.5 so most builders should have few issues and the last page does have some neat tips for this kit. According to Jarius They go together as well as a Fujimi or Tamiya kit since the same mold makers were involved. I can't wait to get this beauty on the bench...so keep watching!

HOK thinned and airbrushed will give that finish. The manual will tell you that you do not have UV protection unless cleared with the proper topcoat. HOK Violette Pearl not cleared.

Most all of my primers tend to be dark....black to light grey. If you want to match a 1:1 in color then base it with white after you have done your final sanding...etc. I shoot a lot of light HOK colors and they tell you to use (bc26 white) to get "this"color...most all light, brite, colors POP more over white vs any other color. Also some orange and yellows are very transparent ...white works much better here.

This is an older kit (1998) although easy to get still. I had seen this kit for a few years and until the JWAC was started I was leaning toward building the sedan delivery version of this kit. It is a level 3.5 kit....the detail is un believable!!! This plan changed as I drew the sedan version as my build in the JWAC! I am STOKED!!!!!!!! Got my kit in today from Canada, Wheels and Tires from Champagne IL, HOK Tangelo Pearl from Coast airbrush....and Artwork from Jairius!!! Questions for you Jarius.... on "The Bomb" did you drop a V8 in or just put duals on the six? Did you Omit the gas cap rear fender or forget? and last but not least, where can I get a window mount cooler...or scratch it?? Big thanks Again..........OOOOHHHHHH THIS IS SOOOOOO FUN!!!!!!!!

Just remember its only plastic...cut that lid down more....measure an sand slowly,,,evergreen and tenax will cover most boo-boos!!

Yup they did that here...6.95/8.95 Kleer effex 12.95 biggest loss was colors..couple of blues,reds silver,black and white........I don't use many of those except black, white for base....I use clear and flake for metallics and pearls...so I can't find all the usual colors..."Dusty Rose"....."Cinnimon Glow"........

Where are the 5 oz cans going? I went by 3 advance autos and all of them had almost no colors left...they have no idea..... I suspect it is being replaced by touch up tubes. Anyone know the truth??

Not sure what color your looking at.....the Camaro is HOK Tangelo Pearl....the 37 is HOK Cinnamon Pearl they are available for airbrushing or rattlecan..thru Black Gold

I've got the Kona brewing now....

I remember the alcoa factory mags I had on my 70's Mustang...they did rust, my father a metalurgist said that was due to ferrous contamination at the foundry...

Yep...I do not think he is that smart......just put a pot of Kona on.....Darn that smells fine!!
