Got one coming, noted its a level 3.5 kit.....anyone built this puppy?
looking for fit, tricks, and troubles......I do know about the killer stovebolt 6!!!
Zack...you are not removing mold...rather the mold release agent...this is slippery stuff that is between the casting and the die...it lets the part "pop" out of the mold....YES you need to clean it well.
Also you will need CA or epoxy to assemble.
Just got my shipping confirmations for wheels and body...
paint...IT'S IN MY FAVORITE COLOR!!!!!!!!!!so I got quarts of it..Tangelo
Look out cause I'm psyched on "The Bomb"
I am lovin this whole idea....Thanks again Jairus and Dave!!!!!!
I would clean and respray the trunk..criss cross against the stripes and do a blend/fade into the sides so your color looks the same..silver is hard to blend without it getting darker.
Dang this is sooo much fun..What other challenge is graced by the artist??
I wondered what wheels to choose for my entry and an E-Mail later Jarius told me the exact set....
Thanks to both Jarius and Fletch!!!
Hey Ernie....It looks like its been padded...use a combination of the two and your set.
Sorry to hear about your fun with CA...keep some debonder on hand...keeps my fingers apart!!
Sorry Greg I said Krylon and the mind said duplicolor....still the answer is the same you can put just about any paint over lacquer when dry. I also clear lacquers over acrylics w/o problems...I'm still curious.
PS...next time just spray a bit in its cap....
