  1. Looks like a cross between a Merc Cyclone and an Opel still fuguly
  2. With both..soak....a note on brake fluid...use only DOT3....4 &5 won't work
  3. Here....lookin stock....
  4. You can add the beading with round stock as far as the wheel tire combo ask Jarius, but I know he used a lot of pegasis wheels on his art. Those look like big and little T's 19" and 23" I have used that combo many times.......
  5. I chuckle on the suicide doors on these Effies... When I did this one ...(Nick...check out the chop)I wanted some custom touches, Chopped lid, Reversed Hood, Suicide Doors, Lowered, Big Rubber, and a monster motor The suicide doors will be reversing a door handle in the mirror hole, mirror is moved inside.....look!! Nick...I like the idea of a 429 in this one...this body is meant for the Big Wide Motors...like the 429 and the SOHC this picture shows both motors side by side...the carbs are different..I love the SOHC so thats my choice. and if you are using a 390... whats a few inches among friends
  6. I don't type that fast........
  7. I spell it differently.
  8. Why stop with the motor from the Z06 go with the six speed and axle and rear suspension...It is just a few cuts...... I did that on this Cameo...both front and rear clips and the motor, rad, intake. You can extend the drivetrain with aluminum tubing...

  13. Nick if you want a custom f series....then you need something different. A 2" wedge chop, pie cut the hood, move the front wheelwells and a small section on the beltline.will give it a different look.....here is a picture of Fooses personal effie...

  21. Ken...I have just finished building the chassis. I have the total of two hours in this and some of that was daydreaming! Low...I had to raise it up a smidge..because the wheel tire combo I used dropped it so low it would of dragged...and the mods done are very real 1:1 mods..right now the glue is drying and the final pictures will be shot and posted. gotta agree... I don't know where this went or why....but I have been building and having fun so pictures soon!!!
  22. Hey Joe...I do remember that song.... The first thing you need to know that "polishing" is the process "wax" is a finish protector. If you have laid that perfect lacquer finish followed by your clearcoat you can begin the process of getting that shine. I use micro mesh pads from 2400 to 12000. Before I use these I let the body totally cure..dehydrator for 24 hours or air 1 week. Then I use 1200 grit 3M paper soaked in water with a drop of dawn in it I gently float the paper over the entire car 1 panel at a time finishing with the roof and trunk. Now I blow dry it off and if it is all dull then I use the pads from 2400 to 12000. after this the body should be verrry smooth. I now use Novus #2 followed by Meguires scratch X both applied on a damp cloth and then buffed If you want to wax now you can..I have heard "the treatment" is the way to go.. good luck and let us see the result!
  23. Hey Brian..the trick is not the brush BUT the LIQUID!...I learned that you must brush it on slow and heavy...and if you see bubbles in the container that your brushing from...your gonna get them in the finish. BUT..with future just strip it off with windex and reapply. I have found two coats applied with a soft 2" brush will work quite well....you put it on thick and as it levels it will leave thicker spots in places like corners and edges...GENTLY wick the excess away I use the corner of a paper towel...and let it dry...leave it alone to dry overnight!!
  24. After finishing it looked good...I'm not posting any more WIPs till in primer....
