Very cool ..what a great flashback!!!! If you want a Kool Orange paint, Go with HOK Ultra Orange Pearl.....Tom Kren Style...shoot it to cover and NO CLEAR!! You get a deep color in a suede like satin finish.....look at his avatar Merc!!!

I like the future dip on window glass that is "just not right" ...dip it slowly so no air bubbles show up set on a rack,wick the corners as needed.....done. I go back to it the next day and it looks better and smudges buff off w/o scratching...As tamiya clear acrylic is so close to future, I'v gotta believe as Steve showed...they both work well. Ts13 is a lacquer and will etch the surface to get a bite...can you say frosty???

Yep your correct about the HIDs... This build was a rainy weekend quickie to get building again..nothing fancy..playing with some paint and tape. Just got some "NEW & IMPROVED " BMF so I may do this one..gotta check out the foil first. Most all of my builds have a drop of clear blue in the bucket and I use future to install the lenses and I flew through this one..

one trick I forgot to mention. I used 3 coats of liquid mask, the picture showed the 2nd coat. after that was dry I took a small length of 6mm tamiya tape and made a tab on the rim and painted the 3rd coat over the tape, let dry it and it was easy to peel off the mask without any scratches. I used the Bob Dively Mask and tamiyaTS lacquer smoke on those wheels....go for it and let us know how it worked...good or bad

The body is TS60 Pearl Green and the frame is Duplacolor Dark Jade Metallic...The body was not cleared but the frame was.
