  8. A word of caution...if you use sealer the shine is duller...if you do not seal it..it likes to rub off when handling.
  9. make sure the interior is square in the body....I thought it fit great!
  10. try the freezer let it sit and gently twist and flex it....
  11. not an airplane......
  12. Looking at Sunrise Yellow or Cinnamon Pearls tutoned with Violette or White Pearl.....something to hide the largeness while making it faster.....
  13. After seeing the sweet work of Jairus I would only add a couple of small bits.... TIX solder, TIX FLUX, TIX ANTIFLUX.... I made a living with my iron on the bench and the Tix products are the best around...very strong...worked great for slot chassis, and just about any RR brass work It will work with resistance irons also.
  14. Sandable are thicker as they have a tendency to fill and selflevel..and the non sandable used as a dust coat so you can block everything smooth I start with a couple of coats sandable followed by 2 light coats of non sandable then I like to block and smooth then followed by a coat of sealer followed by white base if painting light. I use duplacolor and HOK
  15. the only real rule is no LACQUER over ENAMEL. Many use Future as a barrier coat and that is clear acrylic...I did this Magnum with both HOK and Duplacolor lacquers over MM acrylic yellow...it does have to cure. This was cleared with both duplacolor special effex and clear lacquers ]
  16. late 30s sedan delivery....full fendered phat rod
  17. Heres the Question. I'm putting my colors together now for a Hot Rod to be built...the top 1/2 will be HOK Cinnamon pearl and the bottom will be a Champagne or Pearl white......let me know which works best for you!! Pictured isChampagne and Cinnamon Pearl
  18. My take on Testors kit.....warped frame, lousy fit.....missing parts....
