  1. Hey Bill...like George said!! If you have a photobucket or fokti account you could post that sweet Poncho wagon full size!!
  2. I suspect it still has not been mailed out...was "in printing" last week.
  3. There is a fellow named Marcel out in SoCal, that hand makes bodies that way...I think he built the body for Boyds "Whathehey" he did a while back
  4. Those look like Pegasis T's "23"...if they are go to a set of "19"s....in the front.....that will give you more room, but a Big n Little combo...
  5. I do not know for sure, as the source story had a bad translation. It appears to be a South American '51 Chevy clone...I'm still researching it.... I just thought it was cool
  6. Skip, Bill Geary did cover that in his merc buildup...I can't find that link now
  7. My first thought....those posts just stick out, and I suspect the judges might know the original truck as that paint is well known....I think you can pull off that taping though...I would love to see it
  8. Nice to hear of his offer to stand behind resin products...one of a few BTW..always liked their products!! B)
  9. On my bookmarks!!
  10. You fergot the stogie Rick.... You get cold at 70???
  11. Thanks Bob.. As always found your advice spot on..I had the same issues with it inside a body where it did not show..works well if allowed to dry overnite..brushed on
  12. you can have this one.....
  13. Then I must be a beginner wingnut.....I found out in 06...from picking up one of my old Milwaukee friends..Model Railroader, saw the SA next to it, bought it so I could build better HO boxcars...the railroad stuff is stored...but the workroom is all plastic cars and trucks Found this forum and MCM cause of Harry and the ROM contest that got bounced...I've been here since :D
  14. Then you need to downsize it...photobucket will allow you to do this...also MS word will downsize images... the picture I'm using is 600 x 704 @44.7 kb The key is the size of your file....as long as it is under 50kb, it should resize if image scale is on.... Your image avatars Upload a new image from your computerEnter a URL to an online avatar image-or- enter your Gravatar e-mail addressImage Scale On (This will scale the image down for you if it's too big in pixel size)
  15. Thanks for the link Marcos! Do you know about Tamiya surface primer in a jar....It is similiar....but seems like the 1000 ?
  16. Upper right , click on your name, menu drops down, click settings, then look for profile, click that..look down for change avatar...
  17. I get them both...The main reason is simple..Bob Downie doesn't write for MCM....gotta have my painting fix...
  18. Gotta get back on track here.....
  19. Heard it was due to the Metrics and math involved....that confused me
  20. It made no sense...the team couldn't win a game if the temp went below 40 degrees...and they had no tradition...still really don't...... :D GO PACK GO !!!!!!!!
  21. Good news its not you! I could not foil a metal ruler with ultra! Find som of the "new and improved" regular chrome and you too will foil!
  22. Are you using new improved chrome or ultra chrome? I bought my first batch from Micro Mark..it was ultra junk...on my last build a '60 impalla I used new improved chrome and it worked great.
  23. Yep they play two games every year....as Harry (Bears) and I (Packers) both know when the two meet..it will be a low scoring event normally. I have been there and seen that live in both Lambeau and County Stadium as a 3rd generation season ticket holder....So as both Cheeseheads and Pennyheads know...the Black and Blue division is a tough place to play.I'm waiting for #13
  24. Harold, Most of the cars are driven through the staging lanes and onto the stage. They push to center stage and push off...I suspect its the sound issue...If you watched the frame cam there were a lot of fan belts spinning
